Sen Akpabio, you wish to create a 7th state for the Southsouth. Anioma is in the Southsouth.
What the southeast demands is a sixth state to be created in the southeast.

They are only trying to take away what rightfully should belong to Southeast and the southeastersers are not seeing it, because of the manipulation of their desire to have one igbo nation.

Many IPOB separatists in the southeast thought that by giving them Anioma as sixth state for the southeast, it increases their advantages for restoration of Biafra. They don't understand that there is a manipulation to take away what belongs to the southeast and create a 7th southsouth state.
Ned Nwoko is rather acting to reduce political representation in Abuja for people of the southeast through his tricks of create Anioma as sixth state for the southeast

even d Asaba sef is dominantly Igbo, everybody know dat one. So it'll only make sense to add it to its SouthEast brothers.

My mum's Family lives in Asaba, so i do enter Asaba frequently & i must say it's an Igbo land.
Even in their government primary schools d pupils communicate with Igbo language.

My younger brother left Lagos to go & School in Asaba (reason was to be close to my Grandma & help her cos everyone was in Uni @Awka).
When dis boy returned 4rm Asaba he was speaking fluent Igbo more than all of us.

But i doubt they will ever agree to remove Asaba as d capital of Delta & use Warri instead,,
because Asaba is becoming massively developed & new projects springing up... owning to Igbos of course.
So i don't know if d State government will like to give up those giant feats already achieved in Asaba.

It's bern demand for a 6th state for the southeast since 1996, not demand for a 6th Igbo state. Anioma is in the Southsouth.
You can't use sentiments to take away what belongs to the southeast and give it to the Southsouth. Okay?

Delta people are not happy to have their capital in Asaba. Their greatest wish is to kick out their Anioma counterparts. Nobody cares about it being South East or not. It's just politicians using invisible zone as delay tactics and distraction because the government is not ready for any state creation in the nearest future.

Making warri the new delta state capital is going to cause another major ethnic crises between the uhrobos. itsekiris and ijaws better to take it somewhere like delta central where there are still enough undeveloped land spaces unlike already congested small warri area where u can hardly find any empty space of land to develop.

Step by step, Anioma State creation is gaining traction.
Anioma State - capital : ASABA!
Delta state - capital : Warri
It shall come to pass.

Ideally this is what supposed to be, but Babangida , because of Maryan, his wife who was from Asaba dubiously created Delta State and put the capital in Asaba a predominantly Igbo speaking State in SS which ordinarily a SE state.

Extra state creation, in any part of the country, should not be contemplated for now.

This is good news for the long marginalized people of Anima if the state will not be called the sixth SE state.
Anioma state is long overdue but it is not a SE state. Please back this word with actions for an independent state that has nothing to do with SE.

This is where the problem lies, majority of the people in Anioma don't want to be identified with SE.

Asaba is currently a state capital therefore less government infrastructure will be required to kick off

This is correct, Anioma people don't want to be associated with SE,River Niger is a natural boundary. If Anioma will be aligned to SE,it is much better to remain in Delta state because that will be like jumping from frying pan into fire.
