I went past this washing machine few days ago, the owner stated that it is working perfectly, anyone is free to take it.

Who get time for that.😂

In Europe including the UK you will even pay to dispose off certain items like fridge and car tyres at the waste collection centre because such items dangerous to the environment.

Under normal circumstances, the person disposing off the fridge must have arranged with a waste company to pickup the fridge or place a "free pickup" notice on it for whoever needs it, he or she not doing that is an infringement of environmental law.

The fridge did not work maybe because the picker didn't allow the gas to settle for some hours before plugging it thereby damaging the compressor.

Baba nbola, UK branch. I'm sure he wouldn't have been this low, if he remained in Benin City. Imagine, he acquired visa to UK to become a scavenger.

Same way I returned almost a million Naira that was erroneously credited to my account.
I was tempted to use it cos I have never seen such amount in my life. But my conscience didn't allow me. I went to the bank to complain and the issue was fixed. Shockingly, nobody gave me a dime as appreciation. I even had to borrow transport to go to the bank. Sometimes doing good makes u remain at the receiving end

it is normal to put things on the street, even working appliances.
the cost of relocating or transporting your properties from location to another is the same as buying another one.
they will rather place it on the street. nobody will deport him from pick up appliances or anything on the street.
the cost of repairing the fridge, is almost the cost of a new one, that is why it placed on the street

Why is this a news?

Nigerians would do everything to create content. More reasons why white people disrespect an average African.

Carrying fridge on his head in public to create content is disgraceful. I wonder who gave individuals like this visa.

Shame
