donleo92:No. If the reverse were the case, they wouldn't forget. Israel received reparations for the issues relating to the Holocaust. $90 Billion compensation. When slavery was abolished, British Government compensated the slave owners to the tune of 17 Billion pounds in today's money. |

jazzman7711:Lies. If true then Africans should have been the ones to colonise Europe. Tribal wars were rampant in Africa which allowed slavery and colonisation, only Ethiopians were the only ones that were able to unit and defeat the invaders from Europe with weapons from the same Europe. |

The Arab slave trade stsrted before the Europeans and it’s still on going till this day. But sunce the UN now has 57 Islamic nations and loads of poor countries whom Theyll just bribe for cheap votes, Islamists will continue talking about the sins of others whilst covering theirs. |

PulaPower:You are right. They never gave independence to Africa. They just changed the mechanism of slavery from forced physical and geographical slavery to persuasive mental and cultural slavery. From slavery of the muscles to slavery of the mind! |

jazzman7711:Truly hopeless people. There's no way to justify that crime against Africa even though some Africans participated in the crime. If it were the jews that was chained, beaten and killed as slaves the world would have done something to compensate them. We grew up hearing Jewish Holocaust but no one cares about the greatest crime against humanity because it involves black people. Over 100 countries supported Ghana in this UN declaration while the beneficiaries of the crime abstained. The Great Satan US and her ally Israel voted against it. They will surely pay for the millions of people who died during capture or slave raids, and other millions during slaves transportation within Africa, plus the over 2.4 million people who died during the evil voyage to the Americas. Don't forget about the additional millions who died in "seasoning camps" in the Caribbean after arrival, bringing the total death to a very high number. They killed over 20 million Africans but they are keeping quiet about it. No matter how long it takes, these guys will be brought to book one day. It doesn't matter how long it takes. It could be 500 years time after all these brainwashed African people are all gone, a generation of Africans will arise and make them pay. Abiola was fighting for the same thing and now Ghana. They will pay for this crime one day. |

Hi jmoore:i tìre ooo seems Unga don't have things to do anymore.. Slave trade was all over the world.. U GA should even give honors to who it due to.. Even if you hate The United Kingdom for one or two things atleast let's appreciate them for spending their money to end slave trade.. The last bond on the UK to end slave trade was paid last in the 1980s.. That's from 1800s.. Two hundred years that country used it's money to stop slave trade on the Atlantic. Also kudos the William wilberforce the man that convinced the UK government or king to abolish slavery. |

Charity should first start at home, did we Africans love ourselves to start with. We still enslaved ourselves even in a country we called ours for instance here in Nigeria where Yorubas,Hausasa and Fulanis sees Igbos as a threat or conquered people thereby making sure that they are always excluded in any national cakes. Africans will even prefer their slave masters to dictate or rule them against their fellow blacks take for instance South Africans blacks that prefer that colonial masters to take over their lands and business instead of their fellow Africans or here in Nigeria where Fulani,Hausa and Yoruba Muslims will prefer Arab Muslims over their fellow Nigerians, etc. So let's Africans first purge themselves Xenophobia,Tribalism and Nepotism before looking for pity or restitutions from White people(Colonial masters) |

Black Africa was highly dehumanized by the Europeans/Americans through the Atlantic slave trade. Sadly, that slave mentality still exists today as most black Africans can do anything, including dangerous sea travel, to emigrate to Europe/America to live a better life economically. Some Europeans/americas still see blacks in the eyes of the wicked slave traders through racism. |

judewrites:We dehumanised ourselves worse than any other race, and we sadly continue to dehumanise ourselves today in various ways of enslaving our brethren to sell for peanuts to whites and Asians. Do you know of any other race that raided and captured their own people to sell them into slavery? What other race did that as massively as we did for 400 years? And how is oyinbo and Asian racism worse than the tribalistic mindset that we use to do zoning and rotation of public office in local, state and federal governments to share the national cake, a pseudonym for corruption? |
