Those first few people rushing to comment are clearly lacking wisdom. It’s always easy to judge and even find humor in situations when you’re not the one involved.

During one of my prison visits last year, I met a man who had been standing trial for rape. He had already spent over five years behind bars. This year, the supposed victim came forward and admitted it wasn’t rape that they had been in a consensual relationship for years.
Just like that, five years of this man’s life were gone.
Life has different sides, and until you’ve seen it from multiple angles, you’ll understand why it’s important to stay humble and not be quick to accuse or pass judgment. Meanwhile the supposed man is yet to be discharge and acquainted

It is good to maintain some traditions ...this is one of them. The ones offering money to free the rapist should be investigated. Let's pause to really understand who was the victim .... not a teenager ...not a child ....a toddler. ...maybe just done learning how to walk and now learning how to run. He deserved what he got.

I served in Brass local government area of Bayelsa state in a community called Sangana and I'm telling you Sangana is the first place I've seen someone tied to a community pole and being flogged for stealing. It taught me how to behave well in that community cos I can't imagine being tied and beaten like that as a corper. It's normal in that part of the world because police can't really operate in most of Bayelsa communities cos if it's riverine nature

Justice served properly.

We have the law to handle issues appropriately. Do not take laws into your hands, and even if you want to give some punishment, do it wisely and hand over to the law enforcement agents.

We have some ladies that have thrown away aborted babies, and if they were caught, they were probably not punished or arrested.

Many or most of us have sinned in one way or the other. Some have aborted, killed, committed adultery, masturbated, cheated, done diabolism, stolen etc, and if we genuinely repent, God will forgive.
