Countries like the US have constricted people against their will to join the army because they were short on military personnel. Old and overaged people have been constricted to join the forces even in more recent wars like in Ukraine.

Don’t mind them, they think it is their own country where no one is willing to die for the good of the country. The reason why Iran is surviving is because of the sense of culture nationality and preservation they have for the state that’s kept them till now.
