Why is it that Peter Obi is consistently seen visiting other politicians, such as Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Tambuwa, Atiku, Malami Seyi Makinde Seriake Dickson, Sheikh Ahmed Gumi etc, while there are hardly visible reports of those same politicians visiting him in return?

This is someone who takes advice from a madman. Ni reasonable person will choose a madman as an advisor. Obi is making mockery of himself jumping from one politician to another, from market to mall.

You have observed well and you should know why. It's very obvious but the noisy minority will not agree.

Peter Obi doesn't have a home base. He failed to develop Anambra and immediately ran to live in Lagos after his lacklustre administration but now that Tinubu is President he has also run away from Lagos to squat with friends in Abuja as he claims not to have a house there. His political house in Onitsha is overgrown with weeds as he hardly lives there.

Because he believes such indicates he is humble and amicable whereas the reality is that such makes him appear subservient and beggarly in the eyes of most Nigerians. I.e leaders and followers.

And yes, let’s “focus on Tinubu” — the same Tinubu everyone is scrambling to visit, as if proximity equals performance. Even flying to the UK to see King Charles III somehow becomes a badge of achievement. Impressive, truly.

As for Peter Obi — the fact that people are still talking about him clearly says more than your dismissal ever could. “Una dey try” indeed — because despite all the noise, he remains relevant without needing to force it.

Mostly optics and agenda. Obi’s positioning himself as the coalition‑builder ahead of 2027, so he goes to the big men (Kwankwaso, Atiku, Makinde, etc.) in their strongholds to show openness and to negotiate a united front against APC.
Hosts get the PR of crowds and hospitality; visitors look like suitors.
Reciprocal visits happen—Obi hosted Sallah‑season guests in Anambra and meets elders like Obasanjo privately—but they draw less press than Obi turning up in Kano or Sokoto.

Add in practicalities: he’s not a sitting governor with a garrison of state protocol, so travel is easier, and media cover “Obi visits X” as a sign he’s courting alliances, not the reverse.
