Nigerian Army 91RRI Recruitment 2026/2027 - All You Need to Know

The Nigerian Army has officially announced its 91 Regular Recruits Intake (91RRI) recruitment exercise, open to Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women. Registration runs from 30th March to 17th May 2026 via the official portal.

The exercise is completely free, and candidates must be single Nigerian citizens by birth, medically fit, with no criminal record. A minimum of four credits in WAEC/NECO or equivalent including English Language is required, while Tradesmen must also hold a Trade Test Certificate.

Age limits are 18–22 years for Non-Tradesmen and up to 26 years for Tradesmen, all by 30th June 2026. Following the Federal Government's salary review in February 2026, recruits now earn an estimated ₦150,000–₦180,000 monthly, while Short Service Officers earn ₦350,000–₦400,000 monthly, excluding allowances.

Avoid multiple applications and fake documents - both lead to immediate disqualification or prosecution.
