U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked reactions after saying that the United States does not rely on the Strait of Hormuz for its oil supply. His statement is coming at a time when global fuel prices are rising, and tensions around the Middle East are increasing. According to Trump, the U.S. now produces enough energy domestically and is not affected by disruptions in the Strait a key route where a large portion of the world’s oil passes daily. However, analysts say the Strait of Hormuz still plays a major role in global oil markets, and any disruption could affect prices worldwide including countries far from the region. Watch the video and full breakdown here: 👉 https://www.dobblog.online/2026/03/trump-says-us-doesnt-need-hormuz-strait.html Do you agree with Trump that the U.S. no longer needs the Strait of Hormuz, or will global oil markets still be affected no matter what?

I’ve said this countless times, the US is just being magnanimous in its approach to this war because of its partners/allies. The middle easterners should endure this hardship, the IRGC is a problem that needs to be resolved once and for all. For those who don’t understand, North Korea is antiwest, but they keep their hatred in house, China same, Afghanistan same, so why can’t the IRGC leave its agenda of death to America? establishing governments within governments Hezbollah/lebanon, Hamas/palestine, Houthis/yemen, PMF/Iraq and the US is being accused of destabilizing the Middle East? Ridiculous. One thing the IRGC doesn’t understand yet, a manmade canal can be made in the UAE to bypass the strait, Turkey is doing it already as an alternative to the Bosporus canal. |

Baxilexi:I see your point, and you’ve explained it well. The IRGC’s influence across the region is definitely a major challenge, and it does make the Middle East a hotspot compared to how other countries like North Korea or China keep their conflicts mostly internal. The US approach might look “magnanimous,” but it’s also a mix of protecting allies and strategic interests. And yes, alternative routes like canals in the UAE or Turkey’s projects show that nations are thinking ahead to reduce vulnerability to Iran’s control of critical waterways. At the same time, these conflicts affect ordinary people the most, and solutions should aim to minimize civilian suffering while addressing the bigger geopolitical issues. |
