As soon as them increase minimum wages everything increase to collect am back. Who the increase fuel cost go meet back if not the government. In other words you are paying for your own increase wage. |

Stop all these agbadorian thinking and statements that are absolutely disgusting. What is GAME here? You are elected, deliver to the electorate dividends of true leadership, not this constant rhetoric from your APC coven of being a smart Politivian. People like TUNUBu thrive in a useless country like NIGERIA. In sane Clime he will be jailed and expunged from history books. Nonsense AsomughaChuks02: |

AsomughaChuks02:The only political experience he lacked was not having rigging skills, he even transformed our electoral system when he introduced, the PVC, and other good reforms in our electoral system. he meant well for Nigerians and Nigeria, and most importantly, he listens when the masses disagree with his policies. he left his second term for Nigerians to decide, and Nigerians decided. that was it. |

APC, PDP or SP. What I noticed about Dollar in the chart you sent is that it was increase year on year. And I don't think if any of those people that governed Nigeria when dollar was 80 naira, we stop dollar from getting to1000. Infact Dollar increase during all of them tenure.. Oooh mistake, it decrease during Tinubu erra cox it was 1900 or so when he was elected. |

SouthSouth1914:Oga, I'm not blaming GEJ, and from yer comment, you did not read to understand. The issue is that we are a resource dependent economy. And the problem with APC since 2015 is they haven't taken any measures to change it. Seriously, read clearly |

Abeg let us spend the time and effort correcting the present in order to secure the future. The only value of the past is to learn from the errors. But even that we cannot muster. |

Sometimes I use to wonder, is it truly that our leaders is the problem or are we still under the influence of our colonial masters, To be sincere to myself, with all these resources that is both under and above Nigeria, we are still lacking behind. Putting oil aside, we still have enough resources that can still give every citizens of our country a very good and affordable life. The oil in our country is no longer useful to us, because they are been used as a collatéral to borrow money to build infrastructures, infrastructures that will still spoil or undermaintined get destroyed and borrow another money to rebuild it. What are we doing with our Gold Iron Tin Aluminum Zinc All the hecters of arable lands that can make Nigeria a leading hub for food export. Nigeria has enough human resources that are capable to generating billions of dollars to the economy. I still believe that there is still a hand or external powers that is limiting the advancement of Nigeria. |

AsomughaChuks02:He wasn't naive oga. He averted a lot of things if you didn't know. When he left, these bastards took over and raised monsters(Boko Haram) and now we're suffering the hardship and destruction brought by these monsters through our present administration, coupled with a senseless president and his cohorts right from 2015 till date |

Most nigerians don't get the concept of resource dependency. When they do, they will get why GEJ is a bad leader, and why tinubu is an even worse one. NO serious nation makes a living from selling resources, serious nations make a living from using resources to make exportable goods. But the way we measure success in this parts it is by whether this leader built Lagos or was subsidising fuel or whatever. How many exporting industries did tinubu attract to Lagos. ? Did GEJ Use our excess oil revenue to jumpstart our journey to industrialization instead of paying for subsides so that we could live a lie? Nigerians self. DUTCH DISEASE. |

If you like, go and use the best AI to prepare the best graphics. Jona’s tenure was a total failure. Ask economists. Jona and co ran a suppressed economy. That’s not a true reflection of Nigeria and it’s because of people like you- people who are fixated on buying cheap fuels and cheap $$ to import cheap and fake things from China. |

obonujoker:I remember when yaradua brought petrol back to 65 naira, it was like a dream. First time something actually come down in this con3. So sad he could not finish his first term talk of second. May Allah grant him janah firdaus. I had to say most Nigerian took his quietness for inefficiency. Oya na. Jagaban is here, make everybody shut up. |
| Re: Goodluck Jonathan Really Tried For This Country And It's Citizens by nairalanda1(m): 6:35pm On Mar 27 |
Galapagous:And thanks to that N65, our debt grew and continued to grow. And our refineries continued to depreciate. Same thing tinubu is doing with subsides in power, the power sector is failing because the man is doing the same thing as done for the fuel sector. Forced price controls in the name of helping the poor. The result is a big disaster either way |

Lithiumite:When Jonathan removed subsidy, petrol price went from N87 to N145 At 18,000 minimum wage, that gives you 124L still more than double what you get under your god Why did you guys go to Ojota to dance against subsidy removal when you know it was the best option? Was it hate? |

| Re: Goodluck Jonathan Really Tried For This Country And It's Citizens by xxxx999jon: 6:41pm On Mar 27 |
mycar:it's at all time high but emefiele and Buhari had already sold what we have not even produce for 5 years... Price goes up. Or not the have taken the money and spent it, that's why it's hard for Dangote to get crude oil for the refinery.. Emiefele has used his own part of the money to build those estates, malami schools and hotels, can't even count the rest sef. |

| Re: Goodluck Jonathan Really Tried For This Country And It's Citizens by nairalanda1(m): 6:45pm On Mar 27 |
mycar:Okay, in answering you, I want you to understand I am not here to defend any of our leaders, and that I believe that for Nigeria to have a strong economy, we must be exporting industrial goods, not oil. Right. The problem with being on oil is that when prices are high, we live well, and when prices fall, we borrow to maintain the good life of when prices are high, and when prices rise again, the debt we incurred when prices were low have to be paid off. Which means the windfall gets eaten See the problem That is what happens when your governments for decades get most of the government revenue from oil sales...80% as at now of govt revenue comes from oil. Same thing happend between 1973-82, when oil was high, and then after the crash of 82, oil went down so low, that we had to adopt things like SAP and under Abacha some strict fiscal controls and yes, eventually more borrowing to surivive. If we hadn't had most of the debt forgiven in 2005, by 2008, subsidy would have been gone totally, and most of the windfall we had then would have been spent paying off the debt. Now you know why I say that Nigeria's economy needs to rely on exportable industrial goods we make here from the resources we have here. Because relying on oil, and continued relying on oil brought us here. Corruption on top made matters worse, I would even argue that because of the tenous nature of our revenue, corruption effects are more harsh than in other countries (and yes, they steal even in developed countries). That is why I dey look at people that come here to say god bless GEJ, tinubu is a good leader and master strategist, buhari is fixing nigeria, etc, and so on as funny people. We never learn how to be a sane country. Thanks for listening. |

xxxx999jon:Nigerians have the kind of mind that once you blast their heroes, you must be supporting their heroes enemies. Yesterday, I was taking tinubu supporters to task, and dem go call me obident. Today na GEJ supporters, dem go call me tinubu supporters. Nigerians do not understand why their country is not working. |
