A tragic accident reportedly occurred on Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2026, in Aramoko area of Ekiti State, after a trailer reportedly lost control and rammed into a residential building.

According to early reports, a 300-level student who was inside the house at the time lost their life. It was gathered that the victim was resting when the incident happened.

Eyewitnesses say the impact caused significant damage to the building, leaving parts of it completely destroyed. Residents in the area were seen rushing to the scene in an attempt to help.

Authorities are said to have arrived shortly after, while investigations into the cause of the accident are currently ongoing.
