US troops wounded, several planes damaged in Iranian attack on Saudi air base — official

An Iranian attack wounded US troops and damaged several planes at a Saudi air base, according to a US official familiar with the situation.

The official, who speaks on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive military matters, says Friday’s attack on Prince Sultan Air Base involved an Iranian missile and unmanned drones. The strike damaged several US refueling aircraft on the base. It’s not clear how many troops were wounded or how severely.

The confirmation, reported earlier by the Wall Street Journal, comes after satellite imagery that appeared to show the damage to the aircraft appears online.

Army Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington, 26, died days after being wounded during a March 1 attack on the base.

US Central Command said earlier that more than 300 service members have been wounded in the conflict.

Iran needs to focus more on Saudi. That country has not really been hit hard to my satisfaction.

They should ignore other gulf states and focus all on Saudi.

If Isreal and the US do this wholesomely it will be bad for their reputation. Galvanize Sunni fighters, remind them of the IRGCs killings of Sunni’s in Syria. Remind them of attempts by the Shia to take over Kaaba.

This war is for dominance and the Saudis may lose servicemen but with the right PR, it will be a worthy jihad.

If u people only knew what big a deal is made of any US soldier that dies. The body is personally welcomed with a salute by the president. Streets are named after them and it's an honour to the family forever. See below
