Sunday Afolabi rose to prominence in the 1990s with standout roles in classic Nigerian films such as Owo Blow and End of the Wofa. He became a household name for his portrayal of the character “Kegbero” in Owo Blow, earning widespread recognition during Nollywood’s early boom.

The recent footage has since ignited conversations about the welfare of veteran actors and the challenges faced by many in the entertainment industry.

While some viewers expressed sympathy, describing the situation as “heartbreaking,” others questioned the authenticity of the video, suggesting it could be staged to attract public support.
