https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9E0n7SZIzZ4&pp=ygUQam16bWVkaWEgY29uY2VydA%3D%3D Nigeria is currently facing a serious rise in the cost of living, and fuel prices are at the center of the crisis. Many Nigerians are now sharing their real-life experiences, and the situation is becoming alarming. In this video, we highlight shocking reactions from Nigerians who say that ₦100,000 is no longer enough to fill a car fuel tank. One individual revealed spending over ₦93,000 just to fill up, while another claimed to have spent more than ₦300,000 on fuel in just one week. These are not isolated cases — they reflect what millions of Nigerians are going through daily. With unstable electricity supply, many households and businesses rely heavily on fuel to power generators. As fuel prices continue to rise, the cost of transportation, food, and basic living also increases. This has led to growing frustration across the country. Some people are even pointing out that major roads, including the Third Mainland Bridge, appear less busy than usual — a possible sign that fewer people can afford to move around like before.

If I open my mouth waaaa to tell Nairalanders what I'm going through now, the mods will ban me for no reason. If celebs like papa Ajasco, Blessing CEO and the likes, can go broke and start soliciting for help from the public, and even go as far as putting out their details, then who am I? But If i do so now, Na insults upon insults. It's Well. In Nigeria currently, The harder you work, the poorer u become |

To think that some poor and wretched in this country still want this wicked man to continue to rule this nation all because of rice and salt. God forbid evil! Even if u don't like your life pls, consider ur unborn children...must dey suffer the way u are suffering? This man is not what Nigeria needs now...for the late Buhari to be better than Tinubu means, this man has no reason to be close to power. |

The world street journal is projecting that by the third week of April, crude will exceed 170 dpb. You've heard of the strait of Hormuz. Let me introduce you to Bab el-Mandeb. Another strait in the Red sea where crude oil ships pass. Who controls this strait? The Houthis. Who are the Houthis aligned with? Iran. So with Hormuz closed and Bab el-Mandeb joining it sometime in the future, we can all kiss our asses good bye. |

They should cry to Iran to stop the blockage of Strait of Hormuz. Nigeria is not cursed, it is you, your lot and your politicians that are bringing curses on yourselves. |

I recall in 2022/2023, my monthly fuel budget was 40k, yes I meant #40,000! I'll take the vehicle to the office Monday to Friday, except any day there's a maintenance to be carried. Currently, I budget 160k monthly to fuel the same car covering the same route as the previous years. We were advised by our leaders on the need for everyone of us to endure the current pain and sacrifice for a better tomorrow, while the same leaders keep living large and rubbing it on the citizens' faces. Esan ake o, e o le muje! |

Park your car and walk or take public transports.l observed that most of us can't walked a kilometer. You must take a bike or drive a car at walkable distances. I walked to most places and also take public buses when l need one.We are not going back on subsidising fuel or any such products.lt was a conduit for corruption. |

boldmkay:What is ur minimum wage compared to other countries? Also, do other countries depend on fuel for generator and car and business? I had two businesses, I shut em down because i was fueling the generators at the two stores, plus fuel for my house, plus fuel for my car. Omo, i wanted to run mad, I quit. Thunder fire this country, I dislike it with passion. |

Is it by force to fill her tank? Why she no follow dem stand on mandate so that she no go need fuel. Wetin I know be say, a country whose people can "protest against a protest" meant to bring succour and eliminate all forms of distraction that limits the president from delivering a townhall different from balablu will continue to wail. Low-key, everybody dey feel am but we no wan wise up. |

Jerryblaq:You and who would do the revolution? The Unity in Nigeria coat of arm is just for fancy. Everything there is just for fancy. Igbos have tried to protest but the Yorubas asked them to stay in their region and do the protest, reason they have completely decided to stay out of protest. Hausas on the other hand have also refused to protest simply because they feel they still have a hold of the government. Lastly, most Yorubas are also very okay with his policies. Like the last thing they want, is to see him step down for any reason. I can't wait for tinubu fearful return in 2027. 🤣 People will be dropping dead on the streets if care is not taken. Una still dey eat moi moi. Tribalism will choke us all. |
