There is no notable Kano politician with Kwankwaso presently and with 44 local governments to battle against and virtually all government and political stakeholders in APC, the odds are against him. I don't see APC losing Kano in the Presidential election, though it may not be much margin, but for other elective positions, it is 70% APC.

Kwankwaso isn’t moving to the ADC alone, he’s moving with the Kwankwasiyya movement, the same force that brought the current governor to power. He’s moving with Gawuna, the 2023 APC guber candidate who pulled over 800,000 votes, and even with Abba gida's deputy governor who resigned just days ago.

This is not minor, this is massive in Kano politics.

Kwankwaso is a liability if he is a contestant. You only need him for Kano votes and reward him. But what I cannot understand is Obidients thinking he is a good VP for Obi. Do you think Kwankwaso would had defected to ADC if he wasn't offer a "sure" slot of VP? Lol. But he isn't offered and he is defecting. Think na. The guy knows that he is almost becoming irrelevant. And why is he becoming irrelevant?

I just hope Obi is not relying on him as his vp cos if he does, then, Obi isn't smart. But wait...let's see how they will defeat Atiku. And after Atiku defeated them, let's see if Obi will take the VP slot or not. Cos that Obi....he no get class. Keep on consoling yourself, Tinubu has been calling Gamiwa, but the phone has been unreachable. Even releasing ElRufai was to placate him, but the ship has sailed. If Tinubu get millions from NorthWest, he should celebrate 🥳

Honestly I see a brighter chance of PO with the coming of kwankwaso. BC from the look of things, he may have been promised VP , of course he can't be VP to a northern candidate -atiku. If ADC restricts the sharing of dollars to delegates for votes PO might likely pick the ticket with kwa been the VP, then you know BAT my boi will be in trouble wrt 2027 context.
