With Abba as sitting governor and Tinubu as sitting president, I will say that It will be easier for an elephant to pass through the eye of a needle, than for APC to lose kano.

Politics is about gamble and taking a risk. Even if he's giving ADC governorship ticket in Kano State, he still has the state governor and federal forces to contend with. The combination of the current governor, Ganduje and some APC political bigwigs in Kano state should not be underestimated, come what may, Tinubu will still have good showing in Kano state while the governor may win with a slight margin over any candidate presented by ADC in Kano State.

You are commenting from outside Kano State. So your assertion is on permutations.
If you are in Kano, you will know that Kano politics is particularly a local one. That's why kwankwoso is very popular in it because he is a professor in Kano local politics. The remaining politicians are juxtaposing Abuja politics with that of Kano state and therefore always miscalculates.

Who will ever expect that kwankwoso will ever field & sponsor Gawuna in Kano elections.

APC suffocated Gawuna. They couldn't even give him anything but just board chairman, haba.
Ganduje mislead Tinubu on this greatly. Gawuna will split APC into half because many APC will vote him instead of Abba.

Whomever advising Tilumbu that not teaming up with El-rufai in the North in 2027 will not back fire is not wishing him well.....

APC will suffer great loss in the North and rigging will not be easy for them, especially from the 3 giant K states as they're thinking

Foolishness is me rejoicing over the defection of a former or ex political candidate, but when sitting governors defect it is inconsequential. A virile opposition is good for democracy but a party with 31 governors and 78 senators etc cannot loss elections in Nigeria of today.

Why are you scared of a few individuals when you have all 36 governors? "Let each region start afresh" but Tinubu jailed Nnamdi Kanu for advocating for same after usurping the turn of the Southeast to produce a president from the South. Well, he has between now and February to bring the so-called new Constitution.

Please stop this kindergarten analysis, Abuja were not angry during the last local government election, the same Kano were not angry during the last bye election, River were not angry during the last bye election.

All these people are only after their own interest .this man knows that APC will give the governor that decamp a chance to contest. So he needs to move out to other party just to contest. remember the results were soo close, so he has hope if he knows his way.

Listen guy, i have no business with party politics or ethnic jargons you guys are always arguing about on Nairaland. If at this age and time you don't know that Nigeria can't work with this present arrangements, then I have nothing to say but to keep worrying about the future of our youths in which you are probably one of.

Tinubu and APC are disaster but those guys in opposition are even worse. They have governed in various capacity with absolutely nothing to show for it, so only a dumb youth will be clamoring for them to come back to power.

To make a meaningful progress, this country need to be governed along the ethnic line and capacity.

.....but remember the victory was upturned by both Tribunal and Appeal Court. He was rescued by supreme court judgement. The lower courts said majority of ballot papers used that earned him victory were not signed. The 77 of electoral Act which emphasizes on membership register was also not in his favour

Since supreme court has conferred legitimacy on his govt,I don't want to talk further on judicial issues relating to his election . Supreme court is supreme.

But by the political permutation on ground,APC is too formidable for him.Many of Kwankwasiya guys who were in NNPP in 2023 have fully moved to APC. Senator Kawu Sumsila,Hon Abdul Mumin Jibrin and many others have fully ported to APC. With the resources at the disposal of the Governor,the Kwankwasiya's structure would be decimated before election.
