Infact, the internal sellouts will start shouting at NFF to return the cup before day break. They will start quoting laws how we violated international rule of football by walking out of the pitch.

Nigeria is too weak and fragile to be a country. That's why politicians are manipulating us any how. A single politician brave enough like Tinubu can hold the whole country to ransom. Isn't that funny?
Look at how they are criticizing their country based on assumptions. If Nigeria is too weak to be a country what stops you from changing your nationality? If have never seen citizens who are this unpatriotic in my life.

Tinubu is roasting entire country with hardship, yet frustrated guys that struggling to buy data, still defending him as if tomorrow no dey.

Ask them their gains so far, since Tinubu became president, they would be struggling and stuttering to say a word, at end they will turn it to attack and fighting.

Meanwhile, apart from leadership problem, even the "people gathered together to be Nigerians" are kind of difficult and dangerous people, because of power, they ready to support outsiders and enermy just to spite or bring down whoever is in govt.

The Senegal FA suppose sack that thier coach for ordering the players to leave the pitch...that would have cost them alot.
People dont understand walk out was bad. So, make all teams dey walk out if they feel the referee didnt officiate well.
Re: Defiant Senegal Display Afcon Trophy Before Beating Peru In Friendly by Mrexcell(m): 11:47am On Mar 29
All these are unesessary they should first wait for the CAS decision before all these.

But it seems there is a law prohibiting walkouts.

The final decision rests with the arbitration guys but if there's a law forbidding it (and CAF decides to enforce), there isn't much that can be done, is there?

Since they walked out, they weren't supposed to let them walking in to continue the game.

But the same Caf allowed them to finish the game, after Senegal won on the pitch, and the cup handed over to them, in present of Caf and FIFA presidents, you now come after 2 months to cancel it.

Nonsense at the peak.

It should have been enforced that day. They waited 2 months. That decision has made a mockery of the tournament.

You think Senegal is like Nigeria where tribalism and corruption thrive?

Senegalese are very united.

They even raised the fine that was meted against the coach on gofundme.

The problem is, why so much emphasis on the walkout without considering the ill mannered behavior of the referee? There's what is called "cause and effect" in science. Something happens and it triggers a reaction. Don't overlook the cause and concentrate only on the reaction. Else, you will be biased in judgement.

This is the reason why Israel is suffering so much persecution in the world today, especially among the Islamic countries and other faiths, including Christians. People forget easily or choose to ignore when Israel is first attacked by Islamic terrorists, but they suddenly remember to criticize when Israel fires back. The entire world is sick and very far from being pure.

Though wrong, but he reacted out of anger to the extreme biased officiating of awarding a last minute penalty against Senegal, moments before Senegal was denied a valid goal.

Go & watch the replay. That goal by Senegal was a clear goal but referee quickly blew his whistle & never allowed a VAR review. That was crazy.

Following the rule is part of sportsmanship!
Senegal should have played according to the rules, because the rules are part of the game, you can't separate it
You speak out of ignorance.

The punishment for a WALK-OUT is loss of the match +Sanctions, but the Referee must 1st declare a WALK-OUT. It's a Referee's on-field decision & there are conditions for it.

Sadio Mane stayed back urging his players to return, so the Referee obviously decided that their PROTEST did not get to the point to declare a WALK-OUT.
Moreover, if he had declared a WALK-OUT, & the match awarded to Morocco, it would have ruined the Final & the competition.
So nothing wrong with the Referee's decision here. Anyway, that's his decision & it is Final.
Don't also forget that the Referee was all along communicating with VAR & other match officials, so it's not his decision alone.

So CAF sitting in a boardroom to overturn the Referee's decision is totally wrong.
Never in the history of football has a Referee's on-field decision been overturned.

&after deciding to allow play continue, Morocco was still awarded the penalty which Brahimi missed.
It's just because Morocco eventually lost the match that they are causing wahala.
There would have been no issues if they had scored & won in extra time.

That his decision was emotional. Withdrawal from tournament should be a National decision. Imagine Chelle pulling Nigeria out of the final of a tournament without consultation. He bleeped up

Sport court of Arbitration will make the final decision, when they make their verdict, we will know the actual winner.
Senegal are the winner. CAS won't re-decid what's already decided on the field of play. They can only reduce or increase financial sanctions, or number of match ban for affected athletes.

I think you should go and read the rule books. There are decisions that is outside the prerogative of the referees. Once Senegal walked out, they lost the match.

It's not Nigeria. IT'S THE PEOPLE. They have no values, and stand for nothing. It doesn't matter what new country they call themselves, it's the same people.

You didn't even bother to digest my response before replying.

Even CAF in their judgment acknowledged that the Referee erred in not declaring a WALK-OUT, & ending the game.
Which means it's an ON-FIELD DECISION & the Referee's prerogative to declare a WALK-OUT.
But as in my response, the Referee had a good reason for not declaring a WALK-OUT.
Sadio Mane stayed back urging his players to return & declaring a WALK-OUT would have ruined the Final & the competition.

CAF ended up reversing a Referee's on-field Decision which has never happened in the history of football.
