how much did you get the induction cooker
adibo:
My wife set the induction cooker at 300w this morning to boil water. As can be seen, it has been on for just 4 minutes and the kettle is already a bit hot to the touch, which means even the 300w is usable if needed, although that's not my typical choice. The inverter is showing 708w, that's with fridge of about 130w on, fridge of about 100w plus on, several bulbs and two fans on as well. So, the induction cooker is probably consuming about 300+ watts and the water has boiled now sef in about 8 minutes with the 300w

Before recommending a jinko 700w+ panels for someone, please ask them for their inverter max pv current o. The panel has a high current, and will most likely exceed 18a of these inverters.

Dear friends,

Based on advice here, I have burst the Victron Phoenix 24v/1200 inverter. Thank for the various advice🙏🙏

Please, can someone suggest a very good either 24v or 48v and less than 5kva inverter Brand (Premium & mid class inverter)?

this is regular hotPlate or electric cooker. The ability to go On (when cooler) and OFF (when hotter) is controlled by the thermosat in the knob you use in setting it. If you don't want it going ON & OFF, na to just byPass it with wire and e go just dey red HOT dey go.

BUT induction cooker operates differently and costs more also. Very prePaid meter and Solar friendly
Some induction cookers behave that way; if you set them at 800w, they operate by first going high to 2000w and switch off for a while and then pick up again, the aim is to use 800w in one hour of cooking.

Mostly the cheap ones

It was hot plate the man had not an infrared cooker because the infrared cooking technology which does not require a magnetic pot to work came after the induction cooker. So, it is an improvement over the induction cooker which is gradually being phased out.
What is infrared inside there? its just a glorified hot plate with minor twicks with a variable resistor. The way it draws power before you will be able to adjust it ehn, after I adjust am self it took almost 30 minutes to boil water, I just gave up

I don't know of any other trusted repairer unless you'd visit Schneider head office in Lagos at Ikeja Off Adeniyi Jones 1 Tunde Gafar Close. I'm sure you'd get info on repairs there.
Thank you for the prompt response. This your setup is too clean. Are you by any chance an installer? You are my lastest favourite person on nairaland at the moment. Abeg permit me to be your curious student at this time. What is your Solar array strength. What is the size of your battery bank. Is there any part of the system that you wish you had done better? What is the relative cost of the components used outside the inverter? I would be ecstatic to get your feedback

Good morning all. I have come again. Please, I am considering getting an AC for my room to be used only at night. I have 8kwh lithium battery, if the battery is at above 90% at least by 11pm, will it be able to power an AC from maybe 11pm - 6am without running the battery down? I was advised to buy a 1hp inverter AC?

Those who are experienced with this, kindly advise. How many watts will a 1hp inverter AC consume at the lowest setting? Will this be able to cool a small room sufficiently?

If yes, pls, what are the best brands to buy? I have seen LG, THERMOCOOL.

Please, I need as many responses as possible. Thanks in advance

Hello Everyone.

I am thinking of 3.6Kwh ColaSolar portable solar generator with Jinko solar for a small house setup.

My estimation of the total base load is about 800W - 1000W (including a Deep Freezer) with occasional usage of appliances like Blender (800W).

Kindly advice on the best way to go about this . Thanks
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by elpaso007: 5:55pm On Mar 29
This is the ColaSolar product i am looking out for now: the Cola3600plus option.

Though i have read also that their battery performance details as stated here may not match real life reality. So i am interested to hear from anyone that has used this product directly.

I am tenant so there is a limit to how many solar panel my landlord may allow. So i am looking at something functional and portable.
