seunmsg:Are you sure he's aware? He claimed to have stopped corruption. Is that the reality of the state of the nation? He said security has improved. Is that also the reality of the state of the nation A birthday is also a time for sober reflection as Pa. OBJ taught us Stop trying to moderate the actions and opinion of others Just read and move on. That's what reasonable people do when they're confronted with facts they can't handle |

Kukutente23:Every sensible person who understands economics knows that floatation would definitely lead to devaluation Where will the govt get money to pay 50m soldiers.....but he's on record to have increased the pay of men of the armed forces. LG autonomy, the electricity act that has allowed states to generate their own power and regulate their own markets, state police being considered now.....all these are restructuring of our hitherto dysfunctional system. He said he would do all these and he already has. |

Lithiumite:That's a barefaced lie. If China were to float their rem today, it will actually shoot up in value. There's no rulebook that days floatation equals devaluation. Besides, even Tinubu said he was aiming for the naira to appreciate to about 200 in the short term after his floatation. The devaluation was a shock to him and his team Maybe you should have asked him when he said he'll recruit 50m youths how he intendsto fund them. You're making excuses for him now which was not your initial stance LG autonomy does not exist. It only exists in the SC. All the states are still getting their allocations through their states and the chairmen are still appendages of their govs. It's the constitutional amendment signed by Buhari that moved electricity from exclusive to concurrent list that gave states the right to contribute to electricity not any act. An act cannot supersede the constitution. It's common knowledge. State police is still in audio after 3 years of being in govt. But when will the real restructuring of handing over resources of the states to them happen? |

Kukutente23:Is Nigeria anywhere near China in terms of productivity? Only a fool would have thought otherwise considering our contemporary realities. Oga the new electricity act was signed in June 2023 was it buhari that was in power in June 23. LG autonomy is still in as it is because nobody has challenged the state govs.....tinubu has already done the heavy lifting for you it's not his job to then go tell them how they want to receive their monies.....state police will become reality all this things aren't done by a whim particularly in a complex democracy like ours but Its obvious the political will is there from tinubu. |

Lithiumite:I didn't know Nigeria must be at China's level. Which economic theory says that Buhari signed the constitutional amendment that moved electricity to the concurrent list on March 2023. Abi Tinubu was president in March ni? Without that amendment, the electricity act signed by Tinubu is not worth toilet paper. I expect an average political pundit to know and understand this fact! How come Tinubu can only do heavy lifting but can't complete the process by paying the monies to the LGs according to you? Yet he could change the national anthem in less than 24hrs and that was even done on a whim. When they are not interested in doing something, they employ minions to come and explain how complicated things are. |
