waleayeni1:My solar array ain't that much. Just 9 panels. 4 nos Jinko 380w and other random 5nos 250w panels. Battery is 14.3kwh, I built it myself. I like to DIY things...with enough patience you can do virtually anything....except, maybe, surgery on yourself I wish I could add more panels, but sadly I can't. |

xtremeidea:Try POSMITH. You may get lucky. If all failed, get a servo AVR and call it a day ![]() |

Good evening everyone, glad I found this group this evening...I needed a good solar power and I saw this solar pack called Energy bean , has anyone here used it before. If yes, who has tried the 1kwh Energy Bean solarkton is it worth buying? |

Fremlin:I'm yet to get it. The price for it is not something to go experimenting with at this point in time. The only issue is that no one seems to be coming up with a detailed review of the product. I may get it at a later time when I have the luxury of funds. |

mctfopt:Fair enough. You appear to be a very diligent student of DiY, judging by the neat arrangement of your setup. I have sent you an email. Please share your WhatsApp number for a closer collaboration if you don't mind. Considering going for the bigger panels (725w) but the weight I see of those things are scary. Make e no go bring my roof down. Plus charge controller that would give me peace of mind no go cheap. With your help, I am more assured. |

Valto:Is the price for individual 3.2v cells or complete 12v battery. The OP asked of 12v battery. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by iraybuju: 8:36pm On Mar 29 |
xtremeidea:You have not set it well as long as it’s a new device I would not say it’s faulty. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 9:16pm On Mar 29 |
Valto:12V pls. I want an already built one. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by codemaster2much: 9:28pm On Mar 29 |
Valto:mine is an already built 100ah 12v |

mctfopt:I'm very much aware You know you can, just probably not ready for the necessary upGrades that comes along. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 9:08am On Mar 30 |
xtremeidea:Don't get you here. Are you connecting NEPA to your inverter ? As in using the AC IN port ? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 9:10am On Mar 30 |
emynike2001:Except you really ned the PORTABILITY, All-In-ONE setUp Boxes are hardly in your interest. Use that money to setUp proper solar installation that gives room for upGrades and rePairs. Even a sachet inverter along with charger and battery is much better |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 9:21am On Mar 30 |
xzynwa:why not turn investigator. Go to where they sell it in the morning, so long they allow testing, tell them what you want and gives assurance it's the only roadblock between the product (freezer) and their getting your money. 8-hours ain't too long to wait while you busy yourSelf on phone browsing / playing games / watching whatEver interests you. Don't also forget that most times, those times they give don't correlate with real world expectations especially Nigeria's tropical climate; hence that 8-hours might be lower BUT better than industry norms. meanWhile, Don't know why you interested in the standing Freezer BUT except for lack of space, to me, a normal (back for ground) Freezer, is more performant than a standing Freezer. |

Can someone connect panels of the same wattage buh from different manufacturers having it in mind that electrical parameters will be different? Good evening all |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 8:16pm On Mar 30 |
tziz:get 2 550w panels |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Fremlin: 8:29pm On Mar 30 |
bassdow:Actually it's not... The standing freezer is designed to freeze and form iceblocks faster, the only downside is that it doesn't accommodate much |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Fremlin: 8:30pm On Mar 30 |
xzynwa:I ordered for it, yet to arrive tho, will give you the review |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 8:40pm On Mar 30 |
waleayeni1:715w panels are pretty huge and heavy (37kg) But it's all good. It works ok. Just get a tier one panel: Jinko, Longi, Trina, etc. |

Hello Friends, Please can this Huawei Sun2000l-4.6ktl-l1 work with a DIY lithium pack |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Tdoctor(m): 9:56pm On Mar 30 |
Pabodo:The operating voltage is 350 ~ 450 Vdc You will need 110+ 3.2v cells for this to work effectively. I think it's made for Europe |

Fashanu123:No, this is not a good battery. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Opistorincos(m): 11:34pm On Mar 30 |
codemaster2much:You want to series your current 12v battery with the used one you're hoping to buy? If the batteries do not have the same BMS, that is a recipe for disaster. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by codemaster2much: 7:13am On Mar 31 |
Opistorincos:I plan to start with an 100ah battery |

Has anyone ever run their Fridge on a modified sine wave satchet inverter before? How was the experience? Is it advisable? For more context: It’s an LG REFRIGERATOR of 199Litres.
