PHOTOS: INEC officials present as Wike leads delegates to PDP convention in Abuja

Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), led delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to its national convention in Abuja on Sunday.

The delegates are expected to affirm the Abdulrahman Mohammed-led national caretaker committee as the substantive national working committee (NWC) of the party.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were also present the event.

Wike had insisted that the national convention of the party, scheduled for March 29 and 30, would go ahead as planned.
