On March 27, seven trucks carrying 150 tonnes of Russia's humanitarian aid for Iran crossed the Azerbaijani-Iranian border.

🚛 The aid will now be transferred to the Iranian Side for distribution among affected residents.

A shipment of approximately 150 tonnes of food and essential items sent from Russia’s Dagestan republic has arrived in Iran, according to its governor Sergey Melikov.

Geopolitics is at play here. Iran must be cautious not to let Russia or China use it as a proxy to counter U.S. influence in the Middle East. While Moscow and Beijing may provide economic support, intelligence, or diplomatic backing, they are unlikely to intervene militarily if the U.S. decides to strike harder. Iran should know that their assistance would stop short of direct defense.

I thought Iran is on top of the situation,winning the war and dealing with US and Isreal,why do they need food aid and medicine in just one month of introduction to war. The main war is yet to start and they are beginning to starve already. Yeye dey smell!

What else could they do? They are also battling with Ukraine. They are yet to make a real breakthrough in a war they used their hands to brought upon themselves for over four years now.

They could only offered asylum to the deposed Syrian president, their former ally, when insurgents he has been battling several years took over the government.

I don't think Iran needs the food that much. Civilians are not targeted in the war though government is paused. What they need now is peace.

Drop the nuclear program and elect a leader democratically. The war is no longer necessary.
