NEW: Free school uniforms promised by Governor Mbah are now fully ready for delivery to all 267 Smart Green Schools across Enugu State, marking yet another bold step in translating vision into reality.

The uniforms are produced at Enugu Garment Factory in Emene, a fast-rising hub for large-scale garment production, skills development, and job creation, powering local industry while supporting Enugu’s education revolution.

Today, the Chairman of Awgu LGA, Hon. Uchenna Okolo, took delivery of uniforms for all Smart Green Schools in the council from the Special Adviser to the Governor on SMEs/DG of Enugu SME Centre, Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah.

People may argue with you but you've said the truth. As good as the gesture may be, that's a whole lot of money that should have been channeled into more productive things, except the government is saying there's a windfall of excess money from somewhere else that was used for this, maybe donations from wealthy indigenes

School uniform is generally part of what you pay for in your child's fees, and the school supplies maybe two or three pairs.

If you want to sew more after that, it s up to you. However, it must meet the school's specifications

We have wrong priority in Nigeria. I dont see why we need school uniform in government schools. Privates can. Priority should be use the money and provide good teachers, schools, textbooks, libraries etc. Not uniforms.

I feel its even better to give free fruits to students during learning then free uniforms.

Wasteful project by a confused regime.
How did it become the duty of government to provide uniforms for public schools?
Useless project by a corrupt regime that has failed to put its priority in order.
It is all useless!
Thoroughly useless!
Completely useless because it serves no meaningful purpose and solves no single problem and has no valid impact on the real needs of the people.
Shame on this confused government and all the empty vessels who man its affairs.

O God!i am hearing good news from abia, from Enugu and also seeing wonderful things in Rivers state, and in the past, it used to be victor attah,godswill akpabio and udom Emmanuel doing great things in akwa ibom.i do not know what we have done to God wrongly now.the one they call umo Eno is moving like a rudderless jet with nothing to show.may God never give us a woman with no head, like this again as a governor.
