Government-regulated prices do not hold water. Look at the case of petrol "subsidy" for an idea of how it will play out. We need the people in government to be responsible and do what is right, not fix prices. 2 Likes |

DrMB:A bag of cement sold for #38 naira in 1990 was being sold for #1850 during Jonathan's regime. It means that the price of one kg of cement during Jonathan's regime could buy 48 bags of cement in 1990. That means the price of only 10 bags of cement during Jonathan's era would be enough to buy 480 bags which would complete a 3 bedroom flat in 1990. Does that mean that every Nigerian owned a house in 1990? We have more beautiful Mansions now than we have when cement was #10 per bag. Pray make you no follow them to this come world just to look then die for nothing only criticize Government upon Government. If cement dey sell for #50 tomorrow no be everybody go build. 5 Likes |
