India To Buy Russian Weapons Worth $25 Billion (Photos)

🇮🇳 India has approved the purchase of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, transport aircraft, and strike drones from Russia as part of a major military modernization program.

The deal, valued at $25 billion, was confirmed by the country's Ministry of Defense on March 27.

The defense package also includes armor-piercing tank ammunition, artillery systems, aerial surveillance equipment, and hovercraft for the coast guard, alongside a life-extension program for Su-30 fighter jets, according to Reuters.

A separate contract worth 4.45 billion rupees ($47 million) was signed with Russia’s Rosoboronexport for the supply of Tunguska anti-aircraft missile systems for the ground forces.

According to the Ministry's statement, India approved a total of 55 defense proposals worth 6.73 trillion rupees ($71 billion) during the current fiscal year ending March 31, with contracts signed for an additional 503 proposals.

Russian made Military weapons that cannot protect Russia from ordinary Ukrainian Boys Scout that have been using Russian soldiers to learn how to roast suya to the extent that Putin had to run to North Korea, Syria, Yemen and African countries to hire mercenaries to help them challenge Ukraine that didn't had any formal Navy or Airforce before Russia invaded them


If not for Iran's Shahed drones, Ukraine would have captured Putin in Moscow by now and you are wasting your country's scarce resources to buy Russian outdated military weapons that even Russia doesn't fully rely on except their nuclear weapon they have been using to scare away threats

Trust in American weapons might have just gone down seeing that they are mostly overpriced and over hyped.


India needs to make a stronger stand with a more reliable ally like Russia though and not being scared of the US.

India has been flip-flopping lately but great to know it hasn't forgotten it's one of the fore-founder of BRICS. Also US has infiltrated India with ISIS mercenaries like Alex Berbir. So it makes sense for Narendra Modi to treat it as an act of aggression, hence procuring weapons from an ally. At the end of the day, you don't buy weapons from someone looking to destabilise your country. (Unless you're Nigeria)

That's exactly what India wants to do with the suspicious purchase; to use it to copy the outdated Russian technology to add to the ones they have, not as if they trust Russian outdated military weapons

Countries like Russia are always trying to advance their technology.....so catching up and matching them by mere reverse engineering wouldn't be as easy as it seems.

Yes.....but they still have some catching up to do with Russia.....they are an emerging power house country and with time they will most likely achieve that status because they're heading in the right direction.
