You're right. Said this before. Even the blind can see it.

This doesn't mean they'll defeat Mr Tinubu. But it'll give them a fighting chance. If luck's on their side, they'll win.

No formula can defeat Tinubu except death.

Only God gives power and he's never made mistake.

God has given him.
This is very deep. It may be the truth.

2027 is literally Atikus last chance to chase his long time dream and ambition again. How do you think he’ll actually just forgo that and watch Obi get the ADC ticket. Age is no longer on waziris side and this will probably be his last chance to try again. The major reason he was hellbent on bringing Obi to the ADC was that he believes the repeat of their 2019 PDP presidential ticket can actually unsit PBAT. So I don’t see anyway anyone else can get the ADC ticket.

Even if at all the ticket is eventually zoned down to the south, Amaechi will win Obi in primary. And then if Makonde eventually joins then that will be more trouble.

So as it is right now, the ticket that can give PBAT running nose and sleepless night is the repeat of the 2019 PDP presidential ticket. I don’t see any other ticket troubling the sitting president really. If Obi won’t take the VP slot, it will be his loss at the end because likes of Amaechi and Makinde will gladly take it with gratitude and if Obi decides to go contest under another party, then we’ll just be having a repeat of 2023.

As for Kwankwaso, I think he’s ok with whatever position for now and rightly waiting for North’s time to contest the presidency if not he wouldn’t have move to the ADC.
The 2019 combination can't work in 2027, things, perception, behavior and time has changed. Obi/kwankwanso might not win, but it's a launching pad for 2031, therefore ADC is in the right track with Obi/kwankwanso ticket, in 2031, the reverse will be the case. Can't wait for the 2027 elections

They should have united when Tinubu was not in power. Now it is too late. Tinubu cannot be defeated in 2027. Decamping of governors into APC was primarily to take away financial and other resources from the opposition. Now no state governor can openly support the opposition financially. The opposition is crippled. All their potential financial sponsors like El rufai, malami, Timipre sylva have been hunted down. No hope for the opposition.
Oga, not if the people become tired of their suffering and wouldn't joke with the only one life they have, throwing their weight behind a candidate.

See, if the incumbent tries nonsense, this country will blowup in in their corrupt faces.

Power belong to the people. Just an upgraded version of Endsars and Tinubu and this co travelers would calm down

grin when I saw the name of the op and the write up, I just laughed so hard reading is write up😂😂😂😂 it is clear that he is indeed a novice……I’m sure 2023 was the first time he voted and still basking in the euphoria of 2023 election where obi was lucky to sway majority of Christian vote with his Muslim/‘Muslim propaganda where he was busy go to churches to campaign but later learnt the hard way after election after seeing how unpopular he was in the north and Sw region that have the highest number of registered voters grin ……his minions are still busy pushing a bad market😂😂😂 so the northerner who never voted for him in 2023 will now leave Tinubu a Yoruba Muslim who constitutionally have one term left and vote a bitter obi the yes daddy ethnic and religious bigot……..bikonu make ADC do fast give gringory ticket make I check something 😂😂😂

Because Atimu got over 6 m votes n kwakwaso with a new party got over one million votes n u called atiku national n kwakwaso or regional lol . Ok if kwakwaso use pdp platform he will clear all the North ok give Atiku nnpp platform without any structure weda ge go see one million votes u just open ur mouth write and conclude without thinking
Kwakwanso can never get the ticket of PDP in 2023 the way Atiku got it. Atiku single-handedly got the PDP ticket. Atiku that didn't care about the party, that have since relocated to Dubai almost immediately after he lost 2019 election. Atiku influenced PDP not to zone the party ticket to the south. Can kwakwanso pull that kind of stunt.

That is the influence we are talking about. How dare you compare Atiku clout in politics with kwakwanso own?

Kwakwanso whey America still dey find.

Just watch and see how the APC will amplify the Sharia thing in coming days. No forget say after zamfara state, na kwakwanso be the them governor whey implement sharia.

Good morning NL, welcome to another brand new day and week.
Back to the topic.
I'm not a politician, don't support anyone nor party. Infact I started learning politics on this forum. But I still have one or two things to always say about our political climate and especially about the 2027 general election.
.
It's no longer news that APC and president Tinubu doesn't have any opposition. PDP, LP, APGA has already endorsed president Tinubu for re-election. The only party trying to behave like a serious opposition is the ADC. They have some political heavyweights and if Kwankwaso and Makinde should join them, they may become formidable but......
The but there is bcus of a clash of interest.
Almost all the heavyweights bar Makinde wants to be the presidential candidate.
And my mind and permutation is telling, any of them that doesn't get the ticket will want to work against the candidate or their supporters will do.
And among all of them (I am assuming Kwankwaso and Makinde to be among) only Atiku and Obi have a wider supportership across the nation. Kwankwaso and Makinde only has regional support, I don't even know if Ameachi has any support base, so this guys are rule out remaining Atiku and Obi.
Any of this latter two that didn't get the ticket, my earlier disposition comes into play.
And with all this playing out, it's a straight victory for president Tinubu.
.
But if they want to give president Tinubu and APC a serious run for their money, they all have to come together, puts heads together and present a consensus candidates that all of them will support both financially and morally.
So here's my own suggestion and pairing that will give APC a serious fight.
Mr Abubakar Atiku, if I am one of your adviser. I will just tell you to forgo this your presidential ambition and become an elder statesman and godfather to the other aspirants cus the odds are not in your favor.
If ADC should present you, you're from the North and the South won't want to handover their remaining Four years to North, even Obidients will vote for Tinubu or abstain from the election totally. That will be a big win for president Tinubu.
Same goes for Kwankwaso.
It now goes down to Amaechi and Obi who are from the South. And like I said earlier, Amaechi doesn't have the type of Supportership Obi has.
The onus now fall on Obi.
.
But before Obi should be made the consensus candidate. He has to be made to swear with anything or gods they have to consult that he will only complete the remaining 4yr tenure of the south and hand over to the North.
That Northerner now is between Atiku and Kwankwaso. At 83 yrs of age by 2031, I still think Atiku should forgo the ambition and leave it for Kwankwaso.
Now, for Kwankwaso to get that 2031 ticket. He has to be told to swallow his pride and ego and become VP to Obi to complete the South 4yr tenure.
Then when it gets to his turn, he will pick between Amaechi or Makinde as his VP. Even though I doubt Amaechi will want to become one. But with the promise that any of them that is left out will become the consensus candidate when the North finish serving their turn. Even though I don't know how old they'll both be by 2039.
.
So folks, with all this in place and all the heavyweights in ADC pulling in one direction. I believe Obi/Kwankwaso ticket with the full support of other heavyweights like Atiku, Amaechi, Makinde, El Rufai, Malami and co, together with Obi and Kwankwaso supporters will give president Tinubu and APC a serious fight and can eventually win.
Anything aside that is a straight victory for president Tinubu before 12 noon on election day.
This is just my wishful thinking and permutations, will the ADC and the numerous egos in the party tow that line, we awaits.
But before Obi should be made the consensus candidate. He has to be made to swear with anything or gods they have to consult that he will only complete the remaining 4yr tenure of the south and hand over to the North

Obi will naturally wont get second term kiss

IF you say you are a newbie to politics and you can easily pernutate as i see your pov maybe " Common sense" should be mandatory

Its no brainer my friend, like i said on a thread, Atiku is the biggiest obstacle ADC have and he can be the biggiest support ADC can get ... just if he will set aside that delusion he must always appear on ballot paper

IF atiku can pull back, i think the road is clear for Peter obi, and to convince kwankwaso to play vice at this is juiciest of what kwankwaso can get for himself

IF ... I said IF by mistake We have Tinubu vs Peter obi in 2027 .. Its 90% sure APC wil be defeat against all odd, tinubu will do his thing Buh Revolution is like a tsunami it displaces even structures

if things pan out the way you permutate, all that support from Atiku, seyi, Rufai, kwankwaso on standby .. ADC will win

Lolz! Funny indeed. But you know bringing out Atiku who's from North will spoil everything. That's what brought PDP to their knees today.
I bet you if Atiku comes out, it will be a very easy victory for Tinubu. APC are banking on that and my mind is telling you also want it so that Tinubu will have that easy victory.
In any way you look at it from it's still a win win for t-pain. APC are looking at Atiku getting the ticket so that obi will move to another party and it will be a three way match. If obi decides to be deputy to Atiku, he will loose over 60 percent of his clout. Na only igbo people go remain for the ADC with obi.

I think however the opposition brings it, t-pain is sure coming back.

This idea is laughable
No southerner has defeated an incumbent before
Only a northerner which is buhari has done that before
No igbo person has been directed elected president before in the history of Nigeria
And you want to try it with tinubu
I laugh
There is a reason it hasnt happened before
History is totally against your calculation

The best bet is an atiku/peter obi combo
Any other thing is a joke

The igbos need incumbency in form of VP and the ruling party to become president, that can work for Obi later on NOT in 2027
Every record can be broken.

Sorry you said u don't know about politics but u tried in your writeup but the fact is that politics and voting patterns are always depending on the capacity of the personality involved and the spread of the political structures. Most Nigerians didn't know the meaning of structures. Unfortunately only APC is the party that has minimum of 10 persons per polling units as registered members and staff. Well coordinated. Their candidates is always well loved by masses in all his elections.
ADC has 4 men that have being in several positions before and Thier maximum capacity already in the public.

They reason why Tinubu will definitely win no matter the combination is the fact that,
Nigerians will ask them

1 are they going to reverse fuel subsidy
2. Are they going to reverse naira floating
3. Are they going to reverse LG autonomy
4.Are they going to reverse the students loan and other welfare programmes
5. Are they going to reverse the new tax policy
6. Where are they going to get money to support the reversal and finance states so as not to go bankruptcy.

If they can answer all of the above well with evidence of Thier past policy and capacity, then Nigerians will start to reason Thier matter.

My guess is they’ll eventually settle on an Atiku/Obi ticket—and the APC is more than prepared for that. They’ll likely make it very difficult for the ADC to campaign, especially since there’s no new angle to rally around like the Muslim-Muslim ticket issue.
