Thank you for the prompt response. This your setup is too clean. Are you by any chance an installer? You are my lastest favourite person on nairaland at the moment. Abeg permit me to be your curious student at this time. What is your Solar array strength. What is the size of your battery bank. Is there any part of the system that you wish you had done better? What is the relative cost of the components used outside the inverter? I would be ecstatic to get your feedback
My solar array ain't that much. Just 9 panels. 4 nos Jinko 380w and other random 5nos 250w panels. Battery is 14.3kwh, I built it myself. I like to DIY things...with enough patience you can do virtually anything....except, maybe, surgery on yourself grin

I wish I could add more panels, but sadly I can't.

Hello Guys, please what Voltage protector do you guys use? i got one Joyelec like this and it's not cutting but allowing voltage over 240 pass through. i have done the settings multiple times.
Try POSMITH.

You may get lucky. If all failed, get a servo AVR and call it a day grin

Good evening everyone, glad I found this group this evening...I needed a good solar power and I saw this solar pack called Energy bean , has anyone here used it before.

If yes, who has tried the 1kwh Energy Bean solarkton is it worth buying?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by xzynwa: 8:02pm On Mar 29
Fremlin:
Hi xzynwa, where you able to get this?

And did it work well for you?
I'm yet to get it.

The price for it is not something to go experimenting with at this point in time.

The only issue is that no one seems to be coming up with a detailed review of the product.

I may get it at a later time when I have the luxury of funds.

Fair enough. You appear to be a very diligent student of DiY, judging by the neat arrangement of your setup. I have sent you an email. Please share your WhatsApp number for a closer collaboration if you don't mind. Considering going for the bigger panels (725w) but the weight I see of those things are scary. Make e no go bring my roof down. Plus charge controller that would give me peace of mind no go cheap. With your help, I am more assured.

Is the price for individual 3.2v cells or complete 12v battery.

The OP asked of 12v battery.

You have not set it well as long as it’s a new device I would not say it’s faulty.

I'm very much aware You know you can, just probably not ready for the necessary upGrades that comes along.

Don't get you here. Are you connecting NEPA to your inverter ? As in using the AC IN port ?

Except you really ned the PORTABILITY, All-In-ONE setUp Boxes are hardly in your interest. Use that money to setUp proper solar installation that gives room for upGrades and rePairs.

Even a sachet inverter along with charger and battery is much better

Does anyone have any experience using this thermocool standing freezer?

It has 8hours written on the body as how long it takes to produce ice block.

I want to know it that is really true from someone who has used it or knows someone who do.
why not turn investigator. Go to where they sell it in the morning, so long they allow testing, tell them what you want and gives assurance it's the only roadblock between the product (freezer) and their getting your money.

8-hours ain't too long to wait while you busy yourSelf on phone browsing / playing games / watching whatEver interests you.

Don't also forget that most times, those times they give don't correlate with real world expectations especially Nigeria's tropical climate; hence that 8-hours might be lower BUT better than industry norms.

meanWhile, Don't know why you interested in the standing Freezer BUT except for lack of space, to me, a normal (back for ground) Freezer, is more performant than a standing Freezer.

Actually it's not...

The standing freezer is designed to freeze and form iceblocks faster, the only downside is that it doesn't accommodate much

715w panels are pretty huge and heavy (37kg)

But it's all good.

It works ok. Just get a tier one panel: Jinko, Longi, Trina, etc.

Hello Friends,
Please can this Huawei Sun2000l-4.6ktl-l1 work with a DIY lithium pack
The operating voltage is 350 ~ 450 Vdc
You will need 110+ 3.2v cells for this to work effectively.
I think it's made for Europe

HI FOLKs i am looking to start small on LIFEPO4 battery, I currently use a 12v inverter, please in case someone have a LIFEPO4 12v battery they have used and now looking to upgrade and want to dispose, that still have some life in it, I dont mind buying used,
You want to series your current 12v battery with the used one you're hoping to buy? If the batteries do not have the same BMS, that is a recipe for disaster.

Has anyone ever run their Fridge on a modified sine wave satchet inverter before?

How was the experience? Is it advisable?

For more context:
It’s an LG REFRIGERATOR of 199Litres.
