Nigeria Issues Urgent Safety Advisory To Citizens In South Africa Amid Tensions by InfoGuru118(op): 9:14pm On Mar 30
The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has issued a safety advisory to Nigerians residing in South Africa following rising tensions, particularly in the Eastern Cape Province.

In the advisory released from Pretoria, the mission urged Nigerian nationals to exercise heightened caution and prioritise their personal safety in light of the evolving situation.

The commission advised citizens to limit movement, avoid interactions with unfamiliar individuals, and maintain a low profile at all times. It also called on Nigerians to strictly obey local laws and respect cultural norms within their host communities.

As part of precautionary measures, Nigerians were urged to suspend social and cultural gatherings, avoid making provocative statements on social or mainstream media, and steer clear of protests or demonstrations that could escalate tensions.

The advisory further cautioned against unnecessary display of wealth or flamboyance, while encouraging individuals to promptly report any security threats to local authorities.

Citizens were also advised to seek guidance from the Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria or the Consulate General in Johannesburg if uncertain about safety procedures.

The diplomatic mission reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of Nigerians abroad and urged full compliance with the outlined measures during this period of uncertainty.

Nigerians should learn to respect other country’s decisions.
If South Africa 🇿🇦 doesn’t want a king in Nigeria’s community over there then obey their instructions.

Una no find “leader or chairman” as title, you people went as far as “king”. That’s was too deep.

One secret you should know is that South Africans see Nigerians as a very big threat, so please let be guided.

My friend you guys should stop giving credence to stupidity and nonsense. So if someone decided tomorrow to call himself a king that automatically made him a monarch? And that will make you go on a senseless rampage...? Who installed and made him an Igbo king? Who are his subjects and what is the jurisdiction of his authority? If the so-called King broke South African law , what stopped them from arresting and prosecuting him? This is one the reasons no one respects Africa, a whole region of a nation throwing tantrums like children cool. Instead of you condemn what is bad you are here throwing words around... you think those guys can differentiate between the tribes in Nigeria?

I really do not understand the need for all these Ezi ndi Igbo installations in another man's country.

Can't they read the room. It may have been accepted in the past, but things have changed now.

They end up putting all Nigerians at risk because of one irrelevant title. Even when you decide get a leader, does it have to loud and a fanfare event?
Make we dey calm down o

make Una dey use sense dey walk and not just your legs.
I’m not against Nigerians imposing “king” in their community at another man’s land.

Infact, it was a successful “king” coronation in Nigerian’s community in Ghana 🇬🇭, Ghanaians always have that confidence they can compete with Nigerians (Even though they are not up to standard but I love their confidence) BUT South Africans don’t have that confidence to compete with Nigerians

South Africans often blame Nigerians for taking their jobs, women and dominating local businesses, leading to violent attacks on Nigerians (Xenophobia). They see Nigerians as a VERY BIG THREAT.

If they say they don’t want a “king” in Nigerian’s community over there please 🙏🏻 just respect their decision and move on.

Always want to claim another man's land... before u know now if given the chance in the nearest future they'll claim they're the ones that developed SA and that it's no man's land
