At a time when tensions are escalating globally, with growing hostility involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, you would expect a country constantly portrayed as extreme and intolerant to suppress any form of religious diversity. But reality, as always, tells a more complex story. While access to one of Christianity’s holiest sites, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem was reportedly restricted, Christians in Iranian cities like Tehran, Tabriz, and Urmia still gathered to mark Palm Sunday, openly practicing their faith even amid the anxiety of conflict and the sound of bombings in the region. Let that sink in. In the middle of geopolitical tension, sanctions, and threats of war, religious minorities are still observing their traditions. Not erased. Not hidden. Still present. Yet, I came across a comment claiming that the real fear is Iran “Islamising the whole world.” That statement reflects something deeper, not reality, but perception shaped over years. Because if we’re being honest, the same Iranian state being feared globally hasn’t even imposed a single, uniform religious identity across its own population. There are still churches. There are still Christians. There are still public observances like this. So the question becomes: what are we really reacting to? facts, or narratives? For decades, especially since the early 2000s, fear has been one of the most powerful tools used in global politics. Entire regions were destabilized under the banner of “security” and “liberation,” based on narratives that were rarely questioned deeply enough. Today, similar patterns continue: repeated messaging, selective coverage, and emotionally charged framing. This is not about defending any government or ignoring political realities. It’s about refusing to be intellectually passive. Because when the image you’ve been sold doesn’t fully match what you can clearly see, it should at least make you pause. Think. Question. Look deeper. Not everything is as simple or as one-sided as it is presented.

Kukutente23:Iran population is about 97 million Nigeria's population is above 230 million 97+97= 194 so double of Iran still can't match with Nigeria in population I really wish Nigeria population can lead to creative intelligent growth. Unfortunately the brain needs good food most especially protein and fats.... And that's not so affordable here in the country |

CLOUDRepublic:Actually, what you need is education, like what is being provided in this thread. Once you educate yourself, you'd know how to provide protein and fat with your own brow instead of blaming others for you starving. So, please learn! |

CLOUDRepublic:Population is not an excuse. There are countries more populated but still fine. If the government wants to solve the light issue they will but unfortunately some people feeding fat from it wouldn't allow it i.e Generator sellers |

Salubata:We don't have Jews threatening to dominate the world and killing innocent Christians. |

How some notable Names supporting Iran has been silent on this JOS TERRORIST ATTACK, this same people are always silent when innocent Christians are massacre in Nigeria. They are quick to remind us Israel and Jews are evil, but always fail to show us one incident where the Jews threaten to massacred Christians or where Jews are killing people in Nigeria. JOS Is bleeding, innocent lives caught short, mother's crying over their children, etc their only offence is attending the palm Sunday service. IDF is fighting to prevent this scenario happening to their citizen, and we have citizen supporting terror sponsors. God help us in this country |

loveth360:You are showing signs of typical Nigerian Christians attitude they call flock or sheep led by a shepherd. No manner of enlightenment would make you objective and logical without prejudice and bias. I'm willing to learn facts how Iran ever threatened to dominate the world and when they ever attacked a Christian. You didn't accuse America, Russia or China of dominating the world, it's small Iran prejudice made you to accuse of threatening to dominate the world and you think the superpowers would allow it, or you are angry on their behalf. What is the benefits of the western countries that dominate the world to Africa. You mistake jews for Christianity. Even the Muslim countries are not better so religion shouldn't be a factor to decide upholding truth and justice. |

The Issue is not the Ayatollahs islamizing the world, the problem is them getting their hands on nuclear weapons... They have been chanting death to America and death to Israel for decades... If they get their hands on nuclear weapons, they will stop chanting and start shooting... The World is a much safer place without the radical Islamic Iranian Terrorist regime..

Only very daft and ignorant people would believe that a Shia majority country with a Shia theocratic leadership would sponsor sunmi aligned terrorist groups wreaking havoc across the world. They're people who lack cognitive reasoning abilities. They only believe what the orangeman says. |

SlavaUkraini:The only country that has used nuclear weapons on another sovereign country in history is the US. Even when Pakistan was run by rogue military dictators, it never used a nuclear bomb on any country. Likewise North Korea. Think critically. You're educated. Don't always believe because you're told to believe. Allow your cognitives get the best of you. Has Iran ever invaded a sovereign nation? What's even your definition of Islamic terrorists? |
| Re: Palm Sunday In Iran: A Story They Won’t Tell You (pics) by SlavaUkraini: 9:24am On Mar 31 |
Svoboda:The rogue dictators in Pakistan never chanted death to America or Israel for decades... North Korea is not chanting death to America or the West But you see this Islamic Terrorists in Iran, they have vowed to wipe Israel off the global map and will do it if given the opportunity.... Islamic Terrorists are those that kill people including their own people in the name of one Álláh that promised them 500 Virgins when they die.... The World is a much safer place without these people laying their hands on nuclear weapons... |
