Good morning NL, welcome to another brand new day and week.
Back to the topic.
I'm not a politician, don't support anyone nor party. Infact I started learning politics on this forum. But I still have one or two things to always say about our political climate and especially about the 2027 general election.
.
It's no longer news that APC and president Tinubu doesn't have any opposition. PDP, LP, APGA has already endorsed president Tinubu for re-election. The only party trying to behave like a serious opposition is the ADC. They have some political heavyweights and if Kwankwaso and Makinde should join them, they may become formidable but......
The but there is bcus of a clash of interest.
Almost all the heavyweights bar Makinde wants to be the presidential candidate.
And my mind and permutation is telling, any of them that doesn't get the ticket will want to work against the candidate or their supporters will do.
And among all of them (I am assuming Kwankwaso and Makinde to be among) only Atiku and Obi have a wider supportership across the nation. Kwankwaso and Makinde only has regional support, I don't even know if Ameachi has any support base, so this guys are rule out remaining Atiku and Obi.
Any of this latter two that didn't get the ticket, my earlier disposition comes into play.
And with all this playing out, it's a straight victory for president Tinubu.
.
But if they want to give president Tinubu and APC a serious run for their money, they all have to come together, puts heads together and present a consensus candidates that all of them will support both financially and morally.
So here's my own suggestion and pairing that will give APC a serious fight.
Mr Abubakar Atiku, if I am one of your adviser. I will just tell you to forgo this your presidential ambition and become an elder statesman and godfather to the other aspirants cus the odds are not in your favor.
If ADC should present you, you're from the North and the South won't want to handover their remaining Four years to North, even Obidients will vote for Tinubu or abstain from the election totally. That will be a big win for president Tinubu.
Same goes for Kwankwaso.
It now goes down to Amaechi and Obi who are from the South. And like I said earlier, Amaechi doesn't have the type of Supportership Obi has.
The onus now fall on Obi.
.
But before Obi should be made the consensus candidate. He has to be made to swear with anything or gods they have to consult that he will only complete the remaining 4yr tenure of the south and hand over to the North.
That Northerner now is between Atiku and Kwankwaso. At 83 yrs of age by 2031, I still think Atiku should forgo the ambition and leave it for Kwankwaso.
Now, for Kwankwaso to get that 2031 ticket. He has to be told to swallow his pride and ego and become VP to Obi to complete the South 4yr tenure.
Then when it gets to his turn, he will pick between Amaechi or Makinde as his VP. Even though I doubt Amaechi will want to become one. But with the promise that any of them that is left out will become the consensus candidate when the North finish serving their turn. Even though I don't know how old they'll both be by 2039.
.
So folks, with all this in place and all the heavyweights in ADC pulling in one direction. I believe Obi/Kwankwaso ticket with the full support of other heavyweights like Atiku, Amaechi, Makinde, El Rufai, Malami and co, together with Obi and Kwankwaso supporters will give president Tinubu and APC a serious fight and can eventually win.
Anything aside that is a straight victory for president Tinubu before 12 noon on election day.
This is just my wishful thinking and permutations, will the ADC and the numerous egos in the party tow that line, we awaits.
Go and research about election rigging and write.

I'm not interested in any election discussions in Nigeria, that's not interested in how to tackle rigging.

Re: How ADC Can Defeat APC And Tinubu by piriton: 8:23pm On Mar 30
Error, people forget that some people in the middle belt are now for APC in 2027, so those figures have changed. Some people in the north that were for APC have now left the APC so figures going to change. Some people in the south west that didn't vote APC before will now vote APC so everything will change. The North will majorly vote for a northerner this time. Nobody from the south can beat tinubu in any election. The North are aware that voting a new person from the south means 12 years straight for the south. They will not do that. Last election total votes from the north was 14m while the south has 9m votes. Voter apathy. Less people will vote in the south next election while more people will vote from the north. The election will be North versus South. If obi is not a candidate less votes are expected from the east.

Its no brainer my friend, like i said on a thread, Atiku is the biggiest obstacle ADC have and he can be the biggiest support ADC can get ... just if he will set aside that delusion he must always appear on ballot paper

IF atiku can pull back, i think the road is clear for Peter obi, and to convince kwankwaso to play vice at this is juiciest of what kwankwaso can get for himself

IF ... I said IF by mistake We have Tinubu vs Peter obi in 2027 .. Its 90% sure APC wil be defeat against all odd, tinubu will do his thing Buh Revolution is like a tsunami it displaces even structures

if things pan out the way you permutate, all that support from Atiku, seyi, Rufai, kwankwaso on standby .. ADC will win
U slf na novice obi himself is in the wrong party to challenge tinubu... presidential election is not governors election...too many novice in this place

Please add this picture below for added effects. The deluded online Mob needs to hear your message loud and clear.

Obidents MUST have sense. Reality over fantasy, they've tried everything, even planned a coup yet Jagaban keeps defeating them. Many of them will runaway from social media after he wins next year's elections.

Obaofaba:
No formula can defeat Tinubu except death.

Only God gives power and he's never made mistake.

God has given him.

They should have united when Tinubu was not in power. Now it is too late. Tinubu cannot be defeated in 2027. Decamping of governors into APC was primarily to take away financial and other resources from the opposition. Now no state governor can openly support the opposition financially. The opposition is crippled. All their potential financial sponsors like El rufai, malami, Timipre sylva have been hunted down. No hope for the opposition.
Who were the governors that sponsored Obi in 2023?

Rigging is one thing. But I don't know if BAT will actually rigg in the sense of rigging at the polling units.

For me, I just know that it is almost impossible for an INEC Chairman appointed by BAT to announce anyone else apart from him as the winner and it is also almost impossible for any court or judge in this country to say he did not win.

This will be the case even if he is the only one who votes for himself.

The only likely escape may come from very potent international pressure of the kind that ties his hands.

Why don’t you think they’ll should go to the battle field like APC do in 2022 and let everyone rally around the winner?

All I hear is who can defeat Tinubu, how to defeat the APC, so on and so forth. Nothing on what they will offer Nigeria and the people that is better than the current government, what they will do to alleviate poverty, build infrastructure and solve insecurities. It's removing Tinubu is their sole aim. Let the president stay on. He is better than any of them. That's the honest facts.

Re: How ADC Can Defeat APC And Tinubu by CaptainGo: 10:06pm On Mar 30
Smelly permutations.

The person with the best shot is Atiku.

Obi supporters can rally around an Obi VP ticket with hope that after four years deputizing Atiku, he will gun for the presidency.

That said, Tinubu will win the 2027 election with ease. No sentiments.

I supported Obi in the last eletion, but I'll be voting Tinubu in this one.

And that's that.
Re: How ADC Can Defeat APC And Tinubu by Davimuyi: 10:33pm On Mar 30
Some people can be dumb sha.. APC is not scared of Atiku that has the north locked down? Oga o. All atiku and ADC needs now is 2 million votes in the south to win and they will get it ..
Kalulu44:
You have spoken well. But let's tell ourselves the truth. Atiku emerging as ADC candidate is what APC and Tinubu are really praying for. Cus they know the Southerners will not vote for a northerner when south hasn't completed their term. And believe you me, Obi supporters will either vote Tinubu or not vote at all. And that's advantage APC.
Like my post rightly said, Atiku should just respect himself and be an elder statesman. Cus the humiliating defeat he will receive this time around eh hmmm...
As for Amaechi and Obi, Amaechi can only win Obi in the primaries with buying of delegates.
Everyone of them knows Obi's fan base is still intact. Any sidelining him, they'll lose the fanbase. That Obi's fan base together with Kwankwaso northern hegemony is a serious threat for APC and Tinubu.
Anything aside this combination is a huge victory for Tinubu.
If it were the turn of the north, ehen Atiku would have had a chance. But that zoning is seriously against him. My 2 cent take

Mine will be only one or two observations.

1. Only God decides who will be alive at any time.
2. There are still El-Rufai, Tambuwal, and Malami in the northern camp. Where do you place their ambitions?.

There will be other aspirants from the south and north defecting to the party if they become successful; their aspirations will go a long way in determining what and how the party conducts itself going forward.
