Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure a decisive victory in the next election, particularly in Northern Nigeria.

Sani said efforts are underway in Kaduna State to ensure the president garners significant support across the region.

He spoke in an interview on Mic On Podcast.

“President Tinubu will win by a very wide margin, especially for those of us in Kaduna. We are working towards making sure that he has the highest votes in the Northern part of Nigeria,” he said.

He attributed the outcome of the previous election to prevailing challenges at the time but noted that the situation has since improved.

It was a failure in the last election because of the issues that existed at that time, but now we have a governor who is able to unite the Northern and Southern parts of Kaduna,” he added.

They are moving to ADC to be the internal saboteurs as the main focus have been shifted to 2031

Kano, Jigawa, Kaduna (North and South), Kebbi and Katsina are gone. All those that helped Tinubu rig in the KKK states have left him.

The whole of North West and East, which comprise 14 states, Tinubu won only 2 states in the 2023 election. They once betrayed Tinubu so, it won't be surprising this time.

It won’t be a betrayal. He would be repaid in his own coin. 5.6m Northerners voted Tinubu in 2023 and would have repeated the same in 2027. It was Tinubu who betrayed the North and the people who worked hard to make that possible.

Killings are going on in most parts of the north, and all tinubu is interested in is winning there by a wide margin. He's not concerned about the lives wasted there on a daily basis. See eh, if you vote tinubu for second term just know that the suffering you're experienced now would be a child's play compared to what you'll experience after he's sworn in for the second term

He will win the political vote but not the governance vote since you cannot point to anything significant that is an improvement over the previous government.

When people are still talking about hope three quarters into your tenure then you have to use other means to retain power. The President knows too, and that is why he has gone about a shopping spree for vote harvesters.

But when you hear defensive statements like that of Mr. Sani you sense this feeling of insecurity, and so it should be. Nothing to sell but just, 'he will win massively' rhetoric. Not a single reason to point out why.

No sane northern Politician worth their salt will betray Tinubu for Obi Or Atiku in 2027 when power is expected to return to north in 2031 except losers like Elrufai and Atiku whose last chance is 2027.
They thought Yoruba didn't know what they were doing while supporting Buhari for 8 years and taking blame for his failures and now that they want to reap the fruits of their labour some headless mob now thinks they can gaslight them?
They want to reap where they did not sow, ko le work
Intact Tinubus should pepper anybody by doing the following before next elections
1. Create state police
2. Create more states in places like Southern Kaduna, split Adamawa, split kogi, split delta and split niger state
3. Decentralise most power to state especially the power of resources allocation, make states harness their resources and pay a tax to FG and FG to only be in charge of currency, defence and macro economy

He also won just 4 states out of 17 Southern states and all 4 were from the Southwest. That shows you the level of his unpopularity and how hard his Northern allies had to work to give him the margins he got. He couldn't even deliver himself in Lagos. Can the North love Tinubu more than he's loved at home?
