WAEC Releases 2026 WASSCE Timetable by NaijaCover(op): 4:51am On Mar 31

The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has released the timetable for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, for school candidates.

The timetable was published on WAEC’s X page on Monday.

According to the timetable, the examination will commence Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and end on Friday, June 19, 2026.

The examination will begin with Foods and Nutrition 3 (Practical) Planning Session and Home Management 3 (Practical) Planning Session.

This WAEC that year 😅😅. When we heard the exams were coming, it was like the last Boss in an action film we'll defeat before becoming adults.

It wasn't a nightmare for me as I studied well and got good grades. I did my Nov/Dec GCE during the first term of SS3 and by January (second term) results was released, cleared all my subjects, the May/June was just a stroll for me.

Same here. As a science student, na only for chemistry I get problem sef... All the rest were walkovers

Even nowadays, there are students studying well and clearing their papers without assistance, it's just that the "special centres" are loud, making it seem everyone is into it

Miracle centres will start collecting tithes and offerings and start performing their "miracles" as usual

What are you talking?
Did waec conduct cbt exam last year, do you even know what is cbt?

Just dey carry dey say someone is asking annoying question, you don't even know what the person is asking

It was/is a very simple principle.

You prepare well your results come out well .
We read as if our lives depended on it, well it did sha.

We did GCE SS3 1st term as preparation and most of us aced it, WAEC and NECO was a breeze somewhere in between we also did JAMB.

Its the quest for allround As to advertise that is pushing schools nowadays , to get private secondary schools(maybe except mission some military or paramilitary and govt owned ) that don't do runs seems to be by miracle. It's so disheartening.

Students even have it easier now so much resources online I don't even understand the craze for runs and those that are not interested are even blacklisted. Na wa

This year internal WAEC is going to be paper and pencil. They'll start CBT next year. Only GCE is CBT for now

Nightmare for public schools.

In private school, just pay for bombing and see crowds of invigilators hovering around you to handover answers to you.
