The thing just dey pain me as I don dey target Oneplus 16. The funny thing is that there might not even be a global ROM any more. They seem to make Oppo the default now. I just taya

Omo, boss that's the reality of things now.

Funny enough, Color OS isn't too shabby at all. It's efficient and gets the work done. Just ignore the Chinese parts you cannot delete and you're good to go.

Na money wey no dey I got like come for that your OP13. That phone Na beast.

You can still buy the 16 when it comes, normal. It's even cheaper when you buy from China.

UPDATE: 5 years later, my OnePlus 8 is still pushing strong, but not without scars. Apart from the cracked back glass, the front is still intact with minimal scratches. I was never able to find a proper screen guard,

Battery life holds up to the end of the day, i always charge to 80%, this has helped prolong battery health.

Apart from the abysmal camera, it still has a solid screen, good enough SOC, very solid build quality and still alot better looking that most phones today.

Out of all the phones i have used, this is in my top 5. Its now relegated as my secondary phone since i got an Xperia IV around December 2024.
