If prayer seems like a game what do you think about the opposite it. I'm sure no one his or her right frame of mind would want to try that. So, whether it's a game or not I still believe in it.

Prayers has worked for me countless times without number. Like when I prayed for admission and I got it; I prayed for water supply and I got it; I prayed for a successful inter-state journey and I got it; I prayed for healing and I got it. I can go on and on about the countless times God has answered my prayers.

However, there have also been times when I prayed for something and I didn't get it. Experience has taught me that the will of God is very important in getting answers to prayers. I have learnt that the prayers I pray that are not in line with the will of God don't get answered. No matter how big your faith is, if what you are praying for is not the will of God, it won't get answered.

Also, God's timing is part of it. If what you are praying for is not God's time yet, it won't be answered until the appointed time set by God.

Bottom line is that prayer works for the children of God but it has to be according to His will and His timing.

A great philosopher said 'Hope is nothing but folly, born of those who cannot see reality.' I don't expect everyone to walk this path; it’s lonely and it’s heavy. To me, hope is just a defense mechanism that blinds people. Abandoning it forces you to actually work to better your life rather than waiting for a savior.

I see prayer as communication, but while the 'hopeful' are waiting for it to come to pass, the realist has already planned for the outcome. It’s not atheism; it’s just that while you’re hoping for a miracle, I’m grateful for the past ones and already strategizing for the next.

I don't care about 100% clicks or validation. Let's be real: if not for the failed system in this country, we’d all be offering prayers of gratitude instead of these endless prayers of request and supplication. I plan my life down to the worst-case scenario. I'm not even chasing the 'best life'—I just want a life I can actually be grateful for.

And about that 100% certainty? I doubt it. If things were that straightforward, even these 'Pastorprenuers' wouldn't be giving us the 'God has three answers' logic (Yes, No, and Wait). They know the reality is different from the sermon.

Even if you spend a million years on 'prayer of request,' it doesn't mean your life will be a straight line. Look at your own life for example—you’re the perfect case study of why 'hope' without a solid plan is a risk. Your situation is enough 'reality check' for anyone with sense.
