My Odu has been showing connected but no internet since 11:00 am yesterday and almost 24 hours now still no internet. I don't know if this is general or only me.

Now this issue has passed 24 hours and no internet.

The last time i didn't have internet for 24 hours was in January and that lingered for four days. Airtel couldn't solve it and i was told to upgrade from physical sim to e sim which was done and i had to pay for another subscription on the upgraded e sim even though i had subscription on the physical sim.

I just hope this won't end like that because i just renewed my current subscription last Saturday.

I have not enjoyed the airtel ODU for complete 24 hours without network interruptions since i bought it and more over i can't even stream with it.


The airtel ODU has been terrible from my experience and the customer service agents are not helping matters.

This evening at around 4:30 pm, the internet is back after 24 hours.
Nothing was done from my end.

Mine has passed two weeks.
I have got a 4g router myself. I will insert the ODU physical SIM there and solve my problem at once.

All speed test results will be great yet streaming is still messy. Airtel and their magic 😂

All the problems you guys experience here with Airtel is only on the ODU devices. Get your sims of that trash and get yourself a 4g router.

I personally use the X25pro and I don’t experience any downtime at all month in month out. Flawless network experience.

I just did the 3 months 50mb sub and I get 6,500 back on Smartcash cashback.

I dey tell you, it’s like they installed a bug on the ODU that disrupts internet connection to limit the amount of GB you can use, I am using a 4G router airtel hertz 6 to be precise and I hardly experience down time all month long

People using alternative routers, do you get up to 50mbps? Asking coz I have an X25 pro lying around.

Meanwhile I experienced more network problems with the x25 pro when using unlimited 20mbps than I ever did with my ODU. So for me I doubt it will be really worth it.

I have X25 and other small mifis tweaked to work with broadband subscriptions. I may agree it's from the ODU sim but it's not the devices.

I experience bad connection from all the routers. Whenever the network is having problems, I try all the routers and none of them provides better connection. I just know it's Airtel and my location.

I use an ODU sim in my x25pro. No downtime and network issues whatsoever.

Flawless network experience all round the clock on 4g.

Got mine today from poster
It's very similar to the ZLT ODU. I was able to change the IMEI to that of my Airtel ODU as OP advertised and my 50mbps plan works on it. Still testing the device but it's been good so far

@okprojoe give us second update on this router. Perhaps it's the one I haven't tried with this now notorious Airtel ODU package.

I just located the RESET button and tap it..my router now connects but no Internet access

Restart the router. Check if you have changed the APN. You can leave it at Auto. If not, use internet .ng .airtel .net

There's usually no allocated data till you hit 1Tb FUP. In this case I guess no one knows where the FUP applies yet, but my wild guess is still 1Tb.

What's the change log as per the update any noticeable difference after the update?

it’s an unlimited bundle plan so you can’t confirm anything until I try hit the 1tb before the month end.

Same here. Meanwhile had some very bad network situation today but thanks to band locking I was able to get out of that mess. may God bless whoever dropped that info here on this thread. Na the only way I don take survive most downtimes.
