I heard he even go the executive director role and all that on recommendation by slot of a major shareholder; Alhaji Arisekola or so but he later betrayed them and downplayed their influence

DeclanR:
I mentioned this even two weeks before now and I'm glad it has finally happened.

He will go down history as the worst power minister Nigeria ever had. The guy looted enough funds in order to enhance his gubernatorial campaigns. It's quite sad that he's the next Oyo State governor cos I can't see GSM getting it for his anointed successor

Penkelems is a Mess.

How will a Banker even be minister of power?
I know some will argue that there's nothing wrong in that, but come on, it matters a lot.

Imagine The current ADC spokesman, Abdullahi Bolaji as a former sports minister and Solomon Dalong. These two have no passion for sports and knew nothing in their roles.
How about Fashola a lawyer, and minister of power?
A minister of education who has no knowledge about How education can be improved upon and who never studied any education related courses.
Square pegs in round holes

Failing as Power minister alone is enough reason for the people not to vote him

But Nigerians can be gullible

Swallow all the money for power just to seek elected office

Nigeria can never get better without the genuine willingness to fight corruption.

Katell:
This is what should be called shamelessness. You failed woefully in a role that you supposed to showcase yourself to the people, yet you get mind to contest election.

You are supposed to bury your head in shame for the being the worst minister of power in recent times. You are supposed to resign and go solo.
Have you tried to verify the amount of money released for him to execute projects before blaming him?

If Tinubu doesn't release money for him to improve the electricity, will he spend his money? Apart from road and possibly FCT, which other area is Tinubu having impacts?
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by kimjessey2019: 7:23pm On Mar 31
LMAO😂😂😂. Someone that failed miserably as a minister of solely power is aspiring to fix a whole state. Which state is he from?
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by owobokiri(m): 7:24pm On Mar 31
Tinubu will now appoint one of his ineffective buffòòns as a replacement.
Tinubu doesn't care about efficiency or service delivery.
He is only interested in populating the whole place with his ethnic henchmen..
Sorry Nigeria..

Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by AKAyomide(m): 7:29pm On Mar 31
It is truly long overdue for his registration to fully focus on his political ambitions, which are his political rights and liberty. I wish him well in his noble effort. You can only give what you have, even if it isn’t one hundred percent. The development of the country should not always be based on comparing past and current government policies. He has come and given his best to the power sector. It is left for the members of his political party to decide in the primary election whether he is worthy enough to represent them in the governorship election. I will always wish him the best of luck.

I'd be very surprise if the people of Oyo vote this failure to be their Governor. He is amongst the worst Ministers in history.
