Could Wike do all he did if he wasn't serving as a minister under Tinubu? Bala was only approaching Tinubu to rein in his appointee. Seyi Makinde already told us how Wike promised to "hold down" the PDP in the presence of Tinubu, did he object? Yar'adua and Jonathan went out of their ways to ensure opposition parties survived. Nothing like glass house here. This is just the game of National politics. It will be tougher in the coming days. Asiwaju, who is usually ahead of these amateur politicians will hit them hard.

OBJ did worse. He didn't have Southwest state at inception but he took all excepting Lagos. In 2003 it was peripheral Buhari and Tinubu that were his challengers.
