Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar received a delegation of the Enugu Polling Booths Vanguard for Atiku on Tuesday, a group dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of votes in the 2027 general elections.

The delegation, which is focused on ensuring that every vote counts, was led by ADC chieftain and veteran actor Kenneth Okonkwo.

Members of the group even showcased cultural dance steps during their visit, underscoring their enthusiasm and community spirit.

Atiku shared the meeting on his verified social media accounts, stating, “This afternoon, I received the Enugu Polling Booths Vanguard for Atiku, a group chiefly concerned with the sanctity of the ballots, led by Chief Obodoeze Ocho. They believe that every vote must count in 2027. I fully agree with them that protecting votes at the Polling Units level is vital for the coming elections.”

He added that credible elections require active citizen participation: “I told them that, for us to have credible elections that earn voters’ trust, citizens must take the responsibility of safeguarding votes seriously. Votes will count if they are protected by those who cast them.”

One reality pple close to Obi should let him know is that politics globally involves spending money especially in primary. Most pple that will make his candidacy scale through to the masses that will later deliver him are politicians and they deals only with offers. The world has gone beyond I no dey give shsihi. That should be the sacrifice he would do too to ensure his candidacy sees the light of the day.

Don't get it twisted at times you have to match madness with madness. Also remember any fallout in ADC will bring relief to Tinubu which I never pray it happens. I love the combination coming up now and I know alots of betrayal will still come from APC aggrieved members. But if he allows Atiku to outspend him bro it's gone. Besides politics is a dirty game and also a gathering of sinners why forming saint?

Wake up guys it's 2026 the last time votes counted was before they switched off the inec server during presidential election.
