May thunder strike him for making that statement
Why are you so quick to hurl insults but painfully slow to think?
Just look at the numbers: Nigerian artists racked in over ₦20 billion from global streaming platforms in 2025 (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay), up from a mere ₦2.5 billion in 2020 and under ₦500 million in 2015—clear, undeniable progress, even if gradual. Name one sector that’s significantly regressed since 1999 or 2015.

Razzness:
This is an objective fact. But the human brain is programmed to always focus on the negative experience, so it's very hard to see progress.
I can’t believe any rational, thinking person would argue this. It’s like those old folks waxing nostalgic about walking miles to fetch river water—you get the sentiment, but nobody wants to go back.
This is an even bigger red flag on Nigeria’s educational outcomes. If a graduate thinks this way, they should forfeit their certificate on the spot.
How can society advance when some half-literate people seem to prefer GPRS speed to 5G? Utter madness!

Thus is the reason why VDM no dey praise Tinumbe at all even if he do good, lol. Bcus ge no say our youth for nigeria daft, and most youth no like Tinubu. If he talk good thing about Tinubu like this he go lose many supporters quickly. So he just dey give the youth what dey want and he stays neutral and he call out the govt when necessary. Lol. Wise very dark man

Don't blame him, the old boy is currently suffering from acute sclerosis, cos if he were in his right mind, he will know what happened last year in his home state of Benue.

You are just reaffirming my point. It's how our brains evolved: always focusing on the things that are not right. It is what drives human evolution and civilization. There are a lot of examples from this same Nigeria in the 50s, 80s, early 2000s, and now that I could use to buttress this point, but I really don't have the energy to type this evening. Not just Nigeria; if you look at even the countries we look up to, their citizens still say the same thing: their country is worse than it was in so-and-so era. It's always like that. Even in our personal lives, it's like that. I am not saying we are where we would want to be or that we should stop holding our governments accountable. But to think we are where we are or worse than we were 20 or 50 years ago is what psychologists describe as negativity bias or rosy retrospection.

No wonder Wizkid rubbished him the other day to focus on his chaotic family issues. Anyways I don't blame him, they're all looking for piece from the national Treasury. Thank God they all have children to face the mess they're helping to keep growing.

DON'T MIND THESE LAZY NIGERIAN YOUTHS.

TODAY YOU CAN SIT DOWN AT HOME OR IN THE VILLAGE FOR 3 MONTHS. LEARN FOREX TRADING FOR FREE ON YOUTUBE, AND BE BANKING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS A MONTH shortly thereafter.

BOYS OF 16 YEARS OLD ARE DOING IT IN THIS NIGERIA.

THERE'S A CAMEROON GUY ON YOUTUBE (AJIM MACZY)...

All he does is sit in his room and be HYPING NIGERIA. Just talking. Facing the camera.

He now has over 50k subs and banks at least $2,000 a month. (N2.7 million).

From his room in Cameroun!

YOU THAT YOU ARE HERE IN NIGERIA, you wake up daily to abuse Tinubu and Nigeria on Nairaland.

YOU CAN USE THAT SAME TIME AND DATA and go round with your camera filming new infrastructure, city tours, mansions, even villages if you like. Upload to your YouTube channel consistently, and within 3 months, you're swimming in dollars.

Do you know that today, you can go on CHATGPT AI and name your VILLAGE, and tell it you are there, with ZERO NAIRA, but want to start a profitable business. And tell it to give you say 10 solid ideas to choose from, with full step-by-step instructions plus Business Plan, etc for each, and you'll get it in 3 seconds.

It will even show you artisans and suppliers and dealers in or near your village, that you knew nothing about. ALL FOR FREE.

THAT IS WHAT 2BABA IS TALKING ABOUT, BECAUSE HE GREW UP IN A NIGERIA WHERE SUCH OPPORTUNITIES WERE THE STUFF OF DREAMS AND FAIRYTALES..

Where hustling meant GETTING UP DAILY AND ENTERING MOLUE in the hot sun for whatever meeting or hustle you have..

Today, you can just arrange a Zoom meeting from your bedroom.

So when 2BABA is talking, these children on Nairaland need to shut up.
