Have you forgotten that Oshiomhole said if you join the APC, your sins are forgiven? That is the template they are operating on.
Kelklein:
APC has never successfully prosecuted a single person, on corruption allegations, that belongs to their party since they came over 10 years ago.. Google it.

If Nigerians don’t stand up, Tinubu will install himself as president for life.

Consequences: More Nigerians will be thrown into poverty and some die of hunger and starvation.

Eeya, Malami has turned prophet!

God is wonderful.

The same malami sponsoring terrorists.

The same Malami that corruptly enriched himself with more than 230 billions and hundreds of illegally acquired properties all over the world!

The same malami that frustrated Magu EFCC from arresting criminals!

The same malami (a member of the structure of criminalities) that has now become a saint in the eyes of obidients!

We must allow democracy to thrive in this country. I wonder if El Rufai will be arraigned if he was still very active in APC. People like Wike and Oshiomhole have more baggages than Malami and El Rufai but are walking free because they belong to the ruling party.
So you mean Politicians like Malami and El Rufai shouldn't face Prosecution like Tinubu did when he was in the ACN?

In a sane climate, this Malami of a man, his wife and son ought to be in jail for massive corruption and embezzlement but yet has mouth to talk. But then he is in the company of disgruntled disenfranched dishonorable honorables (ADC). These are collection of thieves without honor nor shame.

Let ADC hijarkers be pretnding they do not know what is happening. This case has been on since last year.

The factional chairman of the African Democratic Congress, Nafiu Bala, has dismissed as fake a resignation letter purportedly attributed to him, describing it as a fraudulent creation by desperate political actors.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the Director of Media and Public Affairs in the Office of the National Chairman, Dr. Christopher Okechukwu, the party said the document dated May 18, 2025, was neither authored nor signed by Hon. Nafiu Bala and lacks the official insignia of the ADC.

Okechukwu emphasised that Nafiu Bala has not resigned from his position and continues to lead the party following due process as stipulated in its constitution. It further described the fake letter as a desperate ploy designed to destabilise the party.

He said, “The National Leadership of the African Democratic Congress under the legitimate and constitutionally recognized Acting National Chairman, Hon. Nafiu Bala, hereby issues this statement to categorically deny the existence of any legitimate resignation letter from Hon. Nafiu Bala and to expose the malicious plot engineered by former National Chairman Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu and a coalition of power-seeking elements attempting to hijack the party’s structures through undemocratic means.

“The ADC emphatically denies the authenticity of a resignation letter purportedly authored by Hon. Nafiu Bala and dated May 18, 2025. This document is entirely fabricated, fraudulent, and maliciously circulated by certain mischievous elements within and outside our party seeking to undermine the ADC’s constitutional leadership and sow discord among our members.

“Hon. Nafiu Bala has not at any time resigned from his position as Deputy National Chairman of the ADC, nor has he relinquished his leadership role following the legitimate transition processes outlined in the party constitution.

“The fraudulent document, which lacks official party letterhead, emblems, or insignia, represents a desperate attempt to create confusion and destabilise the party’s operations.

“Constitutional Leadership Transition Process: The ADC affirms that according to our constitution, any individual seeking to assume a leadership position must. Be a registered member of the party for at least one year. Maintain current financial obligations and membership status. Follow due process in leadership transitions.

“The ADC leadership has identified a coordinated effort by a coalition of power-seeking individuals, including former National Chairman Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu and certain external political actors, to illegitimately seize control of the party’s structures in violation of constitutional provisions.

“This group has attempted to submit unauthorised documentation to the Independent National Electoral Commission, including the fabricated resignation letter, as part of a broader scheme to undermine the ADC’s legitimate leadership and impose unelected officials who do not meet constitutional requirements for party leadership.”

He called on the INEC to reject any unauthorised documentation and recognise only Hon. Nafiu Bala’s leadership.

He added, “The African Democratic Congress calls upon INEC to reject any unauthorised documentation and recognise only the legitimate leadership under Hon. Nafiu Bala. Party members nationwide are to remain vigilant against misinformation campaigns.

“The general public is to disregard false claims about party leadership changes. Law enforcement agencies are to investigate this attempt to undermine democratic processes.

“The African Democratic Congress under Hon. Nafiu Bala’s leadership remains the legitimate, constitutionally-recognised platform committed to Nigeria’s democratic development.”

He urged stakeholders to reject the desperate attempts by power mongers to destabilise our party and instead join us in building a stronger democratic future.

Re: Malami Reacts To INEC's Derecognition Of David Mark by Tecno66: 12:46pm On Apr 02
That's not what I am saying. I am not saying both of them are not corrupt. I am saying they are being tried because they jump ship. If they were still in the ruling party, they would have been walking freely. That's not fight against corruption if it's being selective. The anti corruption agencies are acting a script. Oshiomhole told us all that if you join the ruling party, your sins are forgiven. Is that how the fight should be? The same Oshiomhole was petitioned by one Bishop Ochei, till now nothing heard. I am not criticizing APC alone, I am criticizing the entire system. If another party wins today, they will direct the agencies against their opponents. The ruling party appoints the chairmen to this agencies and they begin to do their bidding. Don't be surprised to hear that the present INEC Chairman was given conditions before he was appointed. Jonathan claimed he never knew Prof. Jega before approving his appointment as INEC boss and see the unbiased job the man did.

Honestly, this is nothing but the truth.
This country cannot grow, cannot develop if it's control panel, democracy is broken.

Simply let the people decide for themselves. You are President and part of your responsibility is to grow democracy. To leave the country in a better place than where you met it. And just as you cannot run a successful restaurant if you serve only one type of meal, you cannot have a virile democracy with no viable opposition of other parties to vote for. That is not the business of democracy, it is imprisonment.

Mr. Tinubu, let the people of this country choose who they want to lead them. You don't know it all, you cannot do it all and your legacy is reduced to ashes everyday you go down this path.

Your anti democratic leanings will be what Nigerians will remember you for in years to come. Every other achievement will pale into insignificance. Doubt that. Just ask IBB. Did a lot of good things no one remembers today. His legacy was his anti democratic stance. Little else anyone can remember.

Do you choose to go down that lane, Mr. President.

I am not against the prosecution of the duo. My point is that all corrupt officials should be prosecuted irrespective of party affiliation. I heard when Oshiomhole pronounced that once you join APC, your sins are forgiven and that appears to be what is playing out. It appears the prosecuting agencies select those they go after.
