Azazyel:Struggle against Jamaica? For your information, they outplayed the Reggae Boys in all departments and later won them. If it was Super Eagle, they wouldn't have been able to go pass Jamaica. You think Nigeria would have been able to win them to qualify as Congo did? Go and watch the last two matches between the Super Eagle and the Reggae Boys and see for yourself the real definition of "Struggling" yet without a win. You couldn't win common and ordinary Lesotho and Zimbabwe with no world cup experience before, it's Jamaica with plenty of experiences in the world cup that you would have won? I thank God you even described the SE as u s e l e s team,so no need of saying we would have been the ones playing. Jamaican would have beaten us. So you should have even thank the Leopard for making Africa proud, instead of wishing it could have been us,cos we have been disgraced out of the Inter-Continental qualifiers. |

You may call them any other name but don't make the mistake of calling Dr Congo a poor nation. Every 1 hour there are 14 or more flights going out of the Congo fully loaded with minerals, destination is unknown. Check it they have one of the busiest airspace in Africa. Private jets and cargo planes don't go into poor countries in record numbers. Precious201010: |

ViceGovernor:Then you're not getting the discussion... The country is rich with Many mineral resources, in fact one of the richest in the whole world... But non state actors are the one mining and controlling those things... 80 percent of the population lives in abject poverty.. |

TheCongo2:I'm not predicting based on vibes , unless you're new to football or you're the one talking based on vibes you'll know I'm predicting on history and form. Maybe only Morocco may come out of the group stage , the rest are bound to crash out in the group stage or at the very best the round of 32. If you do not agree we can place our own bet here and see who's capping rubbish |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by TheCongo2: 2:58pm On Apr 02 |
Semaj77:No need for a personal bet—bookmakers already make money off people who think outcomes are this certain. If you were really using history and form, you’d know football isn’t that predictable—otherwise bookmakers wouldn’t exist. |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Semaj77(m): 3:03pm On Apr 02 |
TheCongo2:If football isn't predictable why hasn't an African team won the world cup , why has only a few selected teams won , no matter how much you deny it there's a level of predictability to football , history tells us this. I'm not even saying no African team will win a match but most , if not all , are coming home after the group stages , the rest will fall in the round of 32. If you doubt it place your bet |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by TheCongo2: 3:13pm On Apr 02 |
Semaj77:Football has patterns, not guarantees. If history alone decided outcomes, there would be no upsets, no surprises, and no need for bookmakers. The fact that only a few teams have won shows trends, not certainty—because trends get broken. And by your logic, if we already know who is most likely to win the World Cup, then what’s the point of inviting so many nations? Why not just invite the few teams you think will win and let them play it among themselves? |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Semaj77(m): 3:24pm On Apr 02 |
TheCongo2:It's called a WORLD cup so by inclusion every country should be represented even if we know they'll never win otherwise it wouldn't be a world cup then. Yes we all know it's not a certainty but when there's a higher chance that only a few select will win then it's predictable to a certain extent. I might not be a soothsayer but I can come up with 12 countries and I'll tell you that it's one of these 12 that will win the world cup |

| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Azazyel: 10:41am On Apr 03 |
Pacesetter123:Wait o. Tell me the plenty of experience Jamaica has at the world cup cos I don't understand what you're talking about. Congo struggled as far I'm concerned. They could only score after extra time. Congo only qualified ahead of Nigeria cos the SE players started playing nonsense in the second half. They were protesting against the coach in a match that was very sensitive. They do this field politics a lot. Go back and watch the game against Congo. The Nigerian players switched off totally on purpose in the second half. Jamaica is one of the weakest teams in the qualifiers and Congo is quite lucky to face them. One thing I can tell you is Congo would crash out of the group stage with some walloping. With what I've seen so far, I'm not convinced that they'll get up to 3pts in that group. This naija team is the most talented I've seen in a long while but their onfield politics is too much and that's what affected them. Lastly, Jamaica would not have beaten us. Congo struggled to win that game. You can check a dictionary for the meaning of struggle. There would be no extra time in the world cup group stage so Congo better start scoring in 90mins |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Azazyel: 10:45am On Apr 03 |
TheCongo2:You can bet on Congo to qualify from the group then let's see who would lose |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by TheCongo2: 12:58pm On Apr 03 |
Azazyel:So Nigeria loses = internal politics. Congo wins = luck. Jamaica = weak. Everyone else is the problem except the result… got it. Bookmakers love this kind of analysis. And maybe that’s why none of you ‘highly knowledgeable football analysts’ have been able to beat Nigerian bookmakers. Also, Congo had two valid goals disallowed vs Nigeria—extra time shouldn’t have even happened. |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by TheCongo2: 1:02pm On Apr 03 |
Azazyel:If you’re that certain, go ahead and put all your assets on Congo not qualifying… I’m sure you won’t. Until then, it just sounds like empty noise you are making. |

TheCongo2:I don't gamble my assets on anything. I'm not addicted to gambling. I'm just telling you the truth. Congo won't qualify. I'll tag you when it happens |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Azazyel: 4:14pm On Apr 03 |
TheCongo2:When Congo has proven me right at the world cup, I'll tag you. I'll also agree with your points if Congo does otherwise. Let's wait till then |
| Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Pacesetter123(m): 4:34pm On Apr 03 |
Azazyel:You find it difficult to get my point. You said Nigeria would have won Jamaica, and I said a big NO. Then I went further to give you reasons; that Nigeria who could not win ordinary Lesotho that has no football pitch, they couldn't win Zimbabwe and Benin Republic...those 3 countries has never been to the world cup before and with no experience near Jamaica, then what makes you think that that same clueless Nigeria team can win Jamaica that have football stadia, gone to world cup several times and are currently ranked by FIFA higher than those 3 small footballing countries we played during the qualifiers? Then for you to say that Nigeria lose the match to Congo bcuz they were protesting against the coach/playing politics in the field sounds so infantile. Go and tell that to kindergarten kids. Congo won the match fair and squarely. Nigeria didn't know anything more than what the were playing that day. Or was it the same on-field politics that make them couldn't score a single goal against inexperienced lesotho in Uyo their home ground? Or was it the same protest against their coach that made them lose scandalously to small Benin Republic in Cotonou? Mind you, this same Congo beat Cameroun and Nigeria in play off. So they were the only team there that could match Jamaica and they did it. If it was Nigeria that you are clamouring for, Jamaica would have walloped us mercilessly with high goal margin. I watched Nigeria played a friendly with this same Jamaica you are talking about still during that qualifiers time,we were begging angel Gabriel and Michael to come and stand with us before we were able to draw them 2:2.We couldn't win them as Congo did. Finally, you talking about Congo going out of the tournament in group stage, which stage would Nigeria have come back if they had meandered their way to the tournament? For the 6 times Nigeria has been to the world cup,how many times have they gone passed the group stage? So,if Congo come back in a group stage,is it a new thing to an African team? |
