Quite apart from being an assembly of Nigeria’s most confused and desperate politicians, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has distinguished itself as a peddler of rabid conspiracy theories about what the All Progressives Congress (APC) is or is not doing to undermine the party.

The ADC is a party that never was. By design, it was a kamikaze contraption with a “follow-come” self-destructive detonator. It had to unravel and is now unravelling fast by instalment.

When it’s factional leadership under the duo of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola parachuted into the party like thoughtless, planless commandos and hijacked the party in violent violation of its constitutional stipulations regarding leadership succession and in disregard of the rule of law, the ADC set its own date with destiny.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC’s) decision to de-recognise the factional David Mark-led executives in compliance with the judgment of the court is valid in law, justified in fact, and consistent with electoral policy and democratic practice. It is the consequence of the Party’s reckless and desperate misadventure.

It is therefore highly escapist and irresponsible for the ADC to blame the APC for its internal woes, of which they are the sole architects.

The ADC’s unwillingness to take responsibility for its miserable failure to follow due process, order its internal affairs, and manage its self-inflicted crisis makes ADC grossly unfit as a platform to be taken seriously by Nigerians. A party that cannot fix itself cannot possibly fix Nigeria.

The ADC has absolutely nothing to offer more than its senseless attacks against the APC. Attacking the APC seems to be its cardinal commitment and manifesto. It is a party bereft of ideas and lost in vain desperation for power.

Our great party and the administration of President Bola Tinubu remain steadfast in delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda and strengthening democratic institutions for the peace, unity and prosperity of all Nigerians.

By now it should be clear to all that democracy has failed in Nigeria due to the greed of one man to hold on to power at any cost.

Ironically, according to Tinubu himself, political power is not served at a restaurant à la carte. By all means necessary, you have to fight for it, grab it, and run with it. This is exactly what will play out for them in the next few months

Let the structure of criminality people as postulated by Gregory Obi put their house in order and stop blaming APC for their woes. They use their own influence, power and force to hijack party from the original members, they merry about it but when the court and INEC knackered them 2 by 2 for their forehead they started blaming APC, bunch of I serious fellow. I would have taken them serious had it been their hand are clean. Most of their members wine and dine with Buhari and siphoned public funds. When they were stealing public funds did they remember the masses? Did they remember that there are some people that couldn't afford three square meal? Did they remember that the billions they stole is enough to take millions of Nigeria out of poverty? Did they remember that some families are battling for their life in public hospitals unable to afford the cost of their treatment?

The third day the Appeal Court upheld the suit validating the factional former Vice Chairman's status whilst an immediate change of exco led by David Mark was done by INEC. The party had no issues until Kwakwanso and strategic NNPP members decamped.

Accord Party in Osun State had no Problem until Adeleke joined.
