How is this a news?
And I don't know why public officials keep commissioning private businesses up & down
It's not a private business but government property, where there are different schools located in one compound.

Get your fact right

If it was abia state now, the comment from the bitter souls will be totally different. But look at them celebrating bare minimum in big 2026.

If it's Alex Otti that is building poultry in the name of smart school, you people will be shouting best governor in the world. Bros, if you see good thing , appreciate for once. It won't remove anything from you

Is it a competition. Do you know the number of teachers in Lagos public schools compared to oyo state. If they employ the teachers you want employed ,where will they teach, is it Atlantic ocean. Teachers are employed when there is vacancy gap. Please , that's not even the topic of discourse at the moment. Appreciate good things when you see them . Everything isn't about comparison because you hate the person in power

anonimi:
If education is so crucial to sustainable development then why have APC progressive governors of Lagos State failed to employ up to 19,500 teachers since 1999?

This is the number employed by Makinde in just five years.

At least apapa public schools will be free a bit. Majority of them trek from AJ to apapa to go for public schools but they are too troublesome. Always throwing stones and fighting every time.
You well so? How many public schools does Apapa have? The last time I checked it was 3. You want to compare it with Tolu complex that has been in existence for over 40 years with 36 schools?

Sanwolu has more project than any gov in Nigeria train new brt route housing schools hospitals health centers food warehouses among many others

A second term govt delivered more than the most hype first term gov

The next gov under Apc will give us 2 crusial things just build 2 power plant and let’s remove lagos from national grid connnet lagos island to Dangote refinery gas plant

Make local government more involve in waste management compulsory for all house to pay and bring in plenty private investor to manage dirty disposal by ward
You will leave longer in peace and comfort.

This is exactly what lagos need ,independence power plant and adequate waste management system with tree planting everywhere other thinkgs will fall in line with just 2 years of focus and investment

This is replica of cluster schools together under Former Governor of Lagos State Lateef Kayode Jakande. I attended one of those schools in Orile Agege, Lagos State that housed two primary schools and two secondary schools namely Saka Tinubu Memorial Secondary Schools (Primary and Secondary) and Yewa High School (Primary & Secondary).

Anybody that has visited Tolu we not talk the way you did. Just be quiet and be watching.
Originalsly:
Building schools is good ...no doubt ....but having 20K students in one complex? Why?...so that it will be th biggest in Africa? That's a recipe for disaster. I can guarantee it will be a breeding ground for gangs and a battlefield. It is also very likely to be a ground zero for diseases They should show us the toilet facilities. If universities ...with wayyyy less and older student populations.... have deplorable toilet facilities.... what can we expect from such a large number of students most of which are not used to this? I just hope we can get an update in a years time.

You people should stop these lies na. Tolu Schools Complex has been in existence for more than 50 years. I attended one of the schools (Oluwa Memorial Secondary School) and 99% of these schools were built during Jakande regime except Millennium school..... They are presenting it as if these schools were built during this regime.

If not for backwardness, what's there to celebrate for upgrading or refurbishing an existing infrastructure?

Majority of the two storey buildings you saw in that video was built by Muda Shiru when Tolu school complex was a no go area.

It's a very spacious and large expanse of land. The location is a ghetto and from inception a battle ground for cultist even before cultism became a thing.
