If not for the country we have become even a Governor cant send you to prison. That's the job of Judge who must follow laid down rules. And in normal countries, its only police that can arrest, an arrest which must follow rules and cannot be longer than 2 days except the person is brought before a Judge.

But in Nigeria anybody with money or connection can tell his enemy who has less money or connection " I will arrest you" I will send you to prison.
