The one that directly affect US and Israel or let call it treat is the capability of Iran to own a nuclear weapon , which is their major focus and reason for the war. The weaponzing of strait of hamuz by Iran is to pressurize other countries that depend on that route for their energy source to stop US and Israel campaign for existential threat to Israeli and Americans which Iran and its proxies have not hidden from the world. No one own the world , everyone should have the right to live . If countries affected by the blockage are so affected they should carefully choose which action to take because US has enough oil which I believe they would supply Israel.
