China's foreign policy is about economic cooperation and cultural exchanges not political interference or violation of other nation's sovereignty, that is why it pains China when the issue of Taiwan and Chinese sovereignty is challenged by the US. They believe since they maintain political non-interference it should be reciprocated. Any nation that acknowledges the One China Policy is a friend of China.

The West including the US cannot tackle terrorism, or solve it for other countries. They will keep struggling with it, till the end of time. What goes around comes around , their hands are not clean. Terrorism and the US are 5&6. They are inseparable.

They are just using instability to take advantage to loot the continent's resources . All the conflicts in Africa since the Cold war era has being influenced by the West.

understand how? Is nuclear deterrence not the only reason? NATO can defend itself. They should leave. France and Uk has nuclear weapons. That is more than sufficient. U.S. is benefiting far more for being a member. They are not fools for paying the lion share in defense funds. They have thier bases in nato countries for launching attacks on enemy nation. Without allies, US will just be like Russia and china. And a war can easily be brought to its doorstep.

There is a saying that if an individual cooks for a community they will finish the food but if everyone in the community comes together and cooks for one individual he will never be able to finish the food.

You people like hyping the US because you think they are invincible.

All Europe needs to do is to come together and agree to stop using the US dollar as a reserve currency and international trading currency and you will see the American economy go to tatters!

As for the threat of Russia, NATO was formed to address such threats and to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons.

In the event that NATO is disbanded every country in Europe will restart (they were all suspended as part of the peace treaty when NATO was formed) its own nuclear armament programme which will mean an increase in the number of nuclear weapons in the world thereby putting the entire world at increased risk.

If you must know over 90% of American foreign airbases belong to other NATO members so if they leave NATO then they automatically have to vacate those foreign bases; this is going to be a very hard pill for them to swallow.

The United States is not indispensable to Europe, know this and know peace.

As at today, Europe is one of the continents to reck now with on the global stage. From a high standard of living to high purchasing power, making it one of the most economically viable continents. Trump, after running his mouth last year and threatening to grab Greenland, has come to see how significant Europe is. You may be pissed that Iran has given the US and Israel a bloodied nose, but that can't take away from how important Europe is on the global stage. Tell me the continent that is more successful and significant than Europe.

If Europe had taken part in the attack against Iran by now, it would have been a done deal. As at today, Europe is the only continent that has the means to tank the US economy in a coordinated attack at a cost to them. No other continent can pull that off. The US knows that their's and every other country's saving grace is that politically Europeans are cool and clear-headed .
