A second US Aircraft went down in the Persian Gulf

An A-10 Warthog 'tank killer' reportedly went down in the Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz, around the same time an F-15 fighter jet crashed over Iran.

US officials speaking anonymously confirmed the incidents to the New York Times, though no official statements have been issued by the White House, Pentagon, or CENTCOM.

The one you are refering to was an F 15 in the south west of Iran. This one is a second plane shot down the same day.
It is two different planes at two different places at two different times of the same day
