ovoP:Make a standard CV, start applying graduate trainee roles ( if you haven't already), start preparing for aptitude tests (using GMAT, SHL materials etc), start preparing for practical ways to scale through interviews ( I mean real practical ways). Interviews are not just means to emphasise things you can do. Most interviewers are more interested in things you've done, no matter how small they are. Just present and package them well. Yes, you're a fresh graduate, but you must've served somewhere, such as your PPA. What are your measurable achievements? e.g., I increased safety wears implementation by 85%, etc. No matter how small or irrelevant these achievements may seem to you, mentioning them especially for interview questions that requires the STAR method, may make you standout among your peers. They aren't expecting much from you, though. But do well to stand out |

Stargurl20:Thank you very much. I've astarted applying for GT roles. Notable EY and KPMG. Still waiting for opportunities in the engineering sector |

Thread 50 This is certainly going to be the longest thread on NLNG GT. Hope we don't get to thread 100 before AC mail drops. As it stands now, we wait till tuesday next week after the holidays to start hoping again. Someone said the whole process might likely be completed in July, I certainly hope so too but not sure of that possibility. October/November is my pick for the conclusion of the whole process. |

Abduleeda1:1. Options. 2. It’ll be more than nice to turn down a “highly-coveted” offer. It raises one’s self esteem, in fact. |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by faceoftheweb: 9:54am On Apr 04 |
ovoP:1. I’d advise you look out for tech GT roles in some of these banks. They pay more and you’ll have some time to apply and prepare for those engineering roles when they come. Doing this also means that in a situation where engineering delays, you can still be building a reputable career in tech. 2. Consulting is more demanding and not as financially rewarding at the lower cadres like the GT and associate cadres. Except you truly consider consulting as an alternative career path for you, those bank tech roles are better off. |

This recruitment process is somewhat different from the last. So I'm just guessing there might be changes in the timeframe also. Ellaposh: |

| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Abduleeda1: 11:41am On Apr 05 |
Jobbernath:Exactly this minute, 11:41AM, 3 years ago today, I was celebrating my progression to the NLNG GT recruitment AC, it meant a lot to me back then, wonderful feeling when you know you’re just one step closer to your dream. Hopefully I make it again this time around, can’t wait to have my sweet revenge, Insha Allah. Happy Easter Celebration to all our Christian colleagues.

Abduleeda1:Hopefully second time is a charm for you. The “MAP” and its content around Graduate tests must bring back memories for you then. No? And Happy Easter to all of us Christians. May the purpose of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection find fulfilment in our lives, amen |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Abduleeda1: 11:59am On Apr 05 |
airsaylongcome:Yeah it does, I didn’t even know of it’s existence the last time, I see now why some persons were talking about the AC materials getting leaked and all that. A girl in my group was dropping suggestions like she had read the documents already, during the group discussion I kept on thinking how she knew what to say when we obviously didn’t finish reading the issues, I suspected she had connections, but now that I’m reflecting, I think she studied the MAP seriously, and yes, she got in. I’ve learnt a lot since then sha, so I’m super positive about this trial, but of course, knowing that life happens, and as someone would say, time and chance. |

@abduleeda1 please drop the MAP docs or the link to MAP 🙏. |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Stargurl20(f): 12:11pm On Apr 05 |
Abduleeda1:Thought one could only apply once in a lifetime, given that they placed restriction on NYSC and probably age. Given the fact that you've been through the AC stage before, you should also tell us your experience, maybe 🙂 |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Ellaposh: 12:11pm On Apr 05 |
Abduleeda1:A quick one, are we focus on only the Graduate role? |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Abduleeda1: 12:18pm On Apr 05 |
Tradexreel:I can mail it to you man |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Abduleeda1: 12:23pm On Apr 05 |
Stargurl20:Not really, you just have to be eligible, given the campaign requirements. At the advertisement of the last, I was 6 months into service (NYSC) and I was 22 at the time, I didn’t apply until after the career fair when they mentioned that those still serving can apply but they should’ve finished before the end of the process, I finished service a week to my AC or so, hence I’m eligible to apply for this as I’ve got an NYSC not earlier than 2021 and I’m 25, not that age is a requirement sha, but yeah, that’s it. I’ll drop my experience when there’s feedback for the next stage, so I can either vomit all information (if I don’t make it) or withhold certain details to maintain a competitive edge (if I make it), I hope you understand that though, information is power.🙃 |

Abduleeda1:Good morning, do we have to complete service before Ac? |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by airsaylongcome: 12:30pm On Apr 05 |
Abduleeda1:You are very right to be strategic and hold back on your competitive advantage. This recruitment is war and any (legal/ethical) tactic to have an edge is always valid in my opinion |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Abduleeda1: 12:33pm On Apr 05 |
Ellaposh:During the 1st level assessment for this campaign, there were some leaks on X(Twitter) I said I wasn’t going to write my test until I had memorized every question, and I did, luckily I got about 8/9 repeat for me, my last question was super easy, I had over 4 minutes remaining, so I just sat there waiting for the time to finish running before hitting submit, after submitting, I realized I got that last question wrong, I was super furious with myself.😂 Anyway, what I’m driving at is that at this point, I’ll study any and everything on that MAP, I’d have restricted it to only exercises we did the last time, but seeing how the company is moving this time around, nah, I’m not gon give them any chance to hit me with the element of surprise. However, I’ll pay more attention to the exercises for Level 1 and graduates (Level 2) rather than other levels. |

| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Abduleeda1: 12:38pm On Apr 05 |
Jimmy17:Your discharge certificate is a requirement at the AC, didn’t hear of anyone who went without it, although I think you could also take your call-up letter (what I applied with in 2022) if you’re not done, but I’m certain they won’t offer you employment without NYSC discharge certificate. Although sha, one of my guys didn’t make it to the AC, when asked, he got a feedback that they’d be done before he finished serving (which was around November 2023) they resumed September. He said he was sure he passed the assessment, so he probed further and got that feedback. |

| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Trojan8(m): 1:28pm On Apr 05 |
Stargurl20:One could actually apply twice if things align, I was "eligible" to apply the last recruitment. I did not finish my application because I was trying to get primary school certificate. So very much possible |
