The Obi of Ottah from Igbanke community in Edo State told the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, that the Igbanke people are indigenous Igbo people in edo state and that they want to join Anioma State through boundary adjustment.

Honestly I would like to see where every ethnic group is under one region, then each region should now create the number of provinces they want..
This current arrangement is nearly damaging a lot of things..
its recently I got to know that there are numerous Igbo communities in Cross River state…..

Every ethnic group irrespective of geo political zones should come together and answer their father’s name..

All these artificial geo political zone and man made state creation doesn’t make sense..

Initially, some individuals were manipulated into believing that they are not Igbos. Just because they are in other states. I remember one day a brother was called to sing as an Igbo in a church annual thanksgiving, he said he is not an Igbo but a Delta Igbo. The divide and rule instrument used to manipulate the people is already failing.

He may be right because is not all Delta tribes that speak Igbo even within Anioma.

Honestly, I'm 100% in support of Anioma state creation. It is long overdue
