One of the biggest debates around Christianity isn’t church, or pastors, or even religion in general—it’s this: did Jesus really die, and did He really rise again?

Some say He was never crucified. Others accept His death as history but stop short of believing in the resurrection. It’s almost as though people are comfortable with a dead Jesus—but not a living one.

But here’s the thing: the death of Jesus isn’t just a Christian belief; it’s a historical fact. Even sources outside the Bible affirm that Jesus Christ was crucified. That part isn’t the real issue.

The real tension begins at the empty tomb.
Because if Jesus truly rose from the dead, then we’re not just talking about a good man, or a prophet, or a moral teacher—we’re talking about God in the flesh. And that changes everything.

Yes, there were attempts to cover it up. The guards were bribed to say His disciples stole the body (Matthew 28:12–13). But think about it—men who were once afraid, hiding behind locked doors, suddenly became bold, fearless, and willing to die for this same message. People don’t give their lives for what they know is a lie.
And it didn’t end with rumours. Jesus appeared—again and again. “He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve… after that, He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once” (1 Corinthians 15:5–6). This wasn’t a private vision. This was public, undeniable, and life-altering.

Let’s be honest—if the resurrection didn’t happen, then Christianity collapses like a house of cards.
No resurrection? Then Jesus was just another man with bold claims. No resurrection? Then the disciples were liars. No resurrection? Then faith is pointless, and sin still has the final say.
As the Bible puts it plainly: “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17).

That’s a hard truth—but it’s also what makes the good news so powerful. Because the resurrection did happen. And because it did, everything changes. It means sin has been dealt with—fully, finally, completely. It means forgiveness isn’t wishful thinking—it’s a settled reality. It means death isn’t the end—it’s a doorway.

Here’s the point: the empty tomb is not just a story—it’s a guarantee. A guarantee that your past can be forgiven.A guarantee that your present can have purpose.A guarantee that your future can be secure.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Notice that—whoever believes. Not whoever tries harder. Not whoever is “good enough”. Because let’s face it, none of us are.

So the real question isn’t whether people debate the resurrection. People will always debate.
The real question is this: what are you building your eternity on?
Good works? Religious routines? Hope that somehow it will all work out? That’s not assurance—that’s guessing. And eternity is too long to be wrong.

If you don’t believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ—or you haven’t accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour—what exactly is your guarantee of eternity with God? Because here’s the truth, simple and straight: Only Jesus died for your sins. Only Jesus rose again. Only Jesus defeated death. And that means only Jesus can guarantee your eternity.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’” (John 14:6). Not one of many ways. Not a suggestion. Not an option among options.
The way.

So yes, people may argue. People may doubt. People may question. But one fact remains: the tomb is empty—and that demands a response.
Because if Jesus is alive, then ignoring Him isn’t neutral… it’s a decision. And if He truly rose, then following Him isn’t religion… it’s life.

So the question isn’t just “Did He rise?”
The question is—what will you do about it?

Regarding evidence of his life, ministry, death and resurrection Jesus said to his disciples:

"I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples—if you have love among yourselves." John 13:34-35

"But you will receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, in all Ju·deʹa and Sa·marʹi·a, and to the most distant part of the earth.” Act 1:8

Is there any religion whose members have proved to be in all nations and at the same time have LOVE among them as if they are brothers and sisters?

Is there any religion whose members used the Bible to settle their disparities peacefully among themselves, diverted their resources to production of food and information materials, stopped the production, buying, selling and using of weapons and vowed never to raise weapons against anyone? Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3

Such a religion is the only evidence that someone once walked this planet and proved to be the world's most wonderful counselor and Prince whose rulership will bring perfect Peace among his subjects! Isaiah 9:6🙂

Their religious leaders in the first century banned anyone from spreading the story:

“We strictly ordered you not to keep teaching on the basis of this name, and yet look! you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you are determined to bring the blood of this man upon us.” Act 5:22

So Jesus' disciples started telling people outside Israel the story but the Jewish religious leaders keep sending their thugs after them:

But the Jews incited the prominent women who were God-fearing and the principal men of the city, and they stirred up persecution against Paul and Barʹna·bas and threw them outside their boundaries. Act 13:50

But the Jews who did not believe stirred up and wrongly influenced the people of the nations against the brothers. Act 14:2

But Jews arrived from Antioch and I·coʹni·um and persuaded the crowds, and they stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, imagining that he was dead. Act 14:19

But when the Jews from Thes·sa·lo·niʹca learned that the word of God was also being proclaimed by Paul in Be·roeʹa, they came there to incite and agitate the crowds. Act 17:13

So Jewish religious leaders fought really hard to prevent the story of Jesus from spreading in other lands not to talk of their own cities!🙂

I love Jesus, he is the greatest power on earth..

But the stories woven around his existence by haters is the issue here.

The Roman stories are not factually correct reason why those who were supposed to have a first hand experience of him and be the best eye witness are unable to accept the concocted roman story.

No eye can see God and live. Which God did they see? And nobody knows Christ in the old testament! No dey cap!

Why would a God who gave the Torah, Ignore it to sanction a bloody human sacrifice?
The jews where warned by the Lord most high not to worship any God their ancestors never knew . There was no mention of a "son of God" in the entire Torah. Why all of a sudden it is being celebrated and nobody is saying something about it....except me.

Which true story was stopped or prevented from being preached? This is false. How come the Bible exist today if truly it was stopped?

If Jesus fed thousands at least the thousands would have told the story to their kids and this would have been passed down the generations!

Christianity is a minority in Israel. Even Islam is more prominent. And Jesus was more Jewish than Christian.

The Jews only accepted the first 39 books as sacred what Jesus' disciples wrote was banned among them that's why most Jews don't know the whole story.

Jewish religious leaders told their people that Jesus was performing magic (supernatural acts controlled by demons) and since they controlled what the people had access to they told the people not to allow anyone who believes in Jesus in any place of worship that belongs to Jews. John 9:22; 12:42

The Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the temple about 30 years after Jesus, millions of Jews were killed and the rest ran away. 600 years later Islamists came and seized Jerusalem by force just as islamists seized Northern Nigeria today. Besides the bible account, no where else was it recorded that semites ever were slaves in Egypt which is odd bearing in mind that the Egyptians are a people known for record keeping.

Plus till date no archeological evidence has been found to support the Red sea crossing.

Before archeological evidences and all were created was the natural evidence called oral/traditional testimony passed from generation to generation.

And it is known that the Egyptians do not record their failures and defeats.

Plus Isreal did not fall out of the sky.

So, don't make it sound like archeological evidence is the only evidence used for proving the truth of a matter
