A reprieve for Gerard Martin there, who got his red card rescinded because he kicked the ball first. A very lucky boy, he is. |

Tico can still win this game. That left wing plus Cancelo LB should be exploited more. |

Lamine has been quite poor today |

Gooooooooallllll. Lewaaaaaaaa!!!!! Great dribble from Cancelo but he should have passed instead of shooting. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by AirBere: 9:55pm On Apr 04 |
Cancelo is 100 times a better left winger than Rashford. Why is Flick not trying him there bue that Raphinha is out. |

We really need to up our game on Wednesday. The only advantage we have now is athletico players being stressed than ours but if they come with full intensity, we might lose the first leg of UCL. |

Without weakling Dejong, barca have won every game. Good thing he's back soon ![]() |

AirBere:How can G/A be "nonsense" for a foward? Isn't it better to highlight areas of his game that need improvement? |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by AirBere: 11:57pm On Apr 04 |
Jamiuokolaa:I know why i wrote that for Rashford but will not do that for players like Raphinha, Semenyo, Mbuemo, etc. You must provide G/A and show efforts. His flaws are pretty evident and you probably know him more than I do. Rashford is negative for any progressive team. Its why he'll likely return to Manchester united just like Sancho. If he was actually performing at his age, he'll be the face of Manchester united or play for barca but not on loan. There are too many flaws in his game for years now. Blessed with insane pace and pawa but an extremely weak dribbler(kick and run), runs into traffic, doesn't support the LB, doesn't press, even is off the ball movement is poor. Like Sancho, I'll never want his type near my team. |

After Real Madrid and Real betis, we should be good this season with just 8 games to go. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 8:32am On Apr 05 |
AirBere:Yes Chelsea has the best players in the world in each position, yet they're out of UCL after 8 - 2 thrashing by PSG, not sure of qualifying for UCL next season and all their best players want to play at a better club. You focus too much on Barcelona and our players and you end up contradicting yourself with your spooky analysis. I know you'll call it cruise 😐 All our players have defects and sooner or later, we'd be exposed. That's always your line. But we're 7 pionts clear at the top. Will play in the Quarter finals of UCL and we'd definitely play UCL football next season. |

AirBere:Please don't go there. We are no longer in Xavi era. Don't drag us backwards. Cancelo did not play as LW in both Man City and Bayern. |

Bimmarlykay:Good thing Flick is our coach and you're just a random on Nairaland. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Baddestguyp(m): 8:40am On Apr 05 |
jpmoriarti:They rested almost all their starters. We are the ones stressed. But i don't think it makes a big difference. For some reason people somehow think professional footballers cannot play two matches in 4 days...which is entirely false |

Baddestguyp:Who is this one ? |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Techu: 9:36am On Apr 05 |
SpencerForbes:We shouldn't allow this get into our heads. Champions League is much more important, Although I see us winning on Wednesday whether they like it or not. But the second tie at their home, nah they will give their all. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Nobody: 9:54am On Apr 05 |
Techu:I still have to celebrate this little win because I don’t see Madrid catching up unless we lose focus or fatigue kicks in. If the boys stay locked in, the next 8 games look solid, with the exception of the Madrid and Betis fixtures. Flick definitely has the tactical depth to handle the rest. Regarding the Atletico Madrid clash, it’s going to be a war. They rested their heavy hitters in the last game—I didn’t even see Jan Oblak, and they fielded mostly debutants besides Griezmann. They’ll be coming with their "A" game against us. Good to see Kounde back; his presence should help Yamal find his rhythm again. Sad about Raphinha being out, though, he’s a much bigger threat and a better player than Rashford any day. Since we’re hosting the first leg, I’m expecting nothing but a masterclass from the boys. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by AirBere: 10:03am On Apr 05 |
jpmoriarti: ![]() Person go talk A, jp will talk B. From day 1 I said Rashford will not shine bright in laliga, I've maintained that with Dejong on the pitch, no ucl. Zero contradictions. I'm responsible for anything I post on nairaland bro. Cruise or not I actually dont give a sh!!t. And...I don't contradict. I say things and stay with them unless there's a need to adjust my views lol. When my guy andrew, okpa and others dey come our thread come troll Chelsea, Hazard, Enzo and co you dey hold them? |

Ferran should play LWF with Lewandoski as the CF. He has the positioning but just lacks finishing. He’ll perform better as winger than striker IMO. |
